which side of the family does the baby look like?

When my sons were babies, they looked a lot like my brothers when they were babies and never strongly resembled their dad's family. As they grew, my youngest's eyes were and still are the shape of his great grandfather's on his dad's side. But both boys look a lot like my brother and me. The oldest looks nothing like his dad's side but he inherited his dad's body type. The youngest inherited my brother's long legs and short waist. Both of them are tall like my mom's side of the family, 6'2" and 6'4" while their dad's family is all under 5'10". I like the way they turned out, physically and otherwise!

When my son was about 8months old, we were on a train and sitting next to a really irritating woman who was waving chocolate biscuits around in front of him & telling me that i should be feeding him on Marmite, dressing him a certain way, putting him to bed at a certain time etc. She then went on to say that he didnt look like me... or my husband & asked if he looked like anyone else in the family - not especially - so she asked if he'd looked like anyone else in the family when he was born. I was so sick of her by that time that I told her he'd looked like both his grandfathers ... she looked happy enough with that until I said 'Yeah! he had no teeth & was almost bald!!' She moved seats.

My eldest daughter looks like me, and my youngest daughter looks like my husband. But my eldest get her attitude on her dad, mine is the youngest.

Nah, I think my nephew looks like more of her mother than my brother. I'm grateful that she is because she is beautiful. The only thing that I don't like about her is that she is always sick and I pray that she will become stronger as she grows old
