Do you like to travel when its raining?

I prefer to travel when the weather is dry but sometimes it is fine to travel when it is raining. That is if I am already on a train or bus and it it stops raining before I arrive at my destination. If I am walking to or from a train or bus station in the rain I don't like seeing my luggage get wet. Sometimes my clothing is inside plastic bags at the bottom of my backpack. My current backpack has a rain cover so that is excellent.

In Europe often you do not have much choice. We are fortunate that the local railway station is only a 3-minute walk from here.

One of the more interesting journeys in my life was a 9-hour cross-country trip in a minibus in Thailand during the monsoon season. That was not to be recommended. How the driver got us to our destination safely is great credit to him.

I normally dont care too much if its raining or sunny outside when im traveling. I found it difficult to drive in the rain from my home in nc, to VA, though, because people tend to drive a lot worse when its raining, and lately if im driving in the rain, i get really tired, and a 5 hour drive when youre tired just isnt any fun at all. So if im not traveling too far, then the rains okay, but if its one of those gonna take more than 4 hour trips, its not so great.
