For you dads: Happy Fathers day  |

|  I miss my dad so I hope all you dad's out there are having a great day.....I wrote this poem thinking of my dad and want to share it with all you dad's out there today!
You’re my father, you’re my hero!
You’re my father and my hero,
Someone who stands apart.
From others who have touched my life,
You’re so special to my heart!
As my father you have lifted me,
Gave strength when I have failed.
You’ve held me in your loving arms
When my aching soul has failed.
As my hero you have been a man,
Of which I can be proud.
You stand your ground, with firm belief
You endure amidst a crowd!
You paved the way, provided well
You always put us first.
When thoughts of you, fill my mind
My heart just wants to burst!
For you’re my father, you’re my hero,
And I wanted you to see.
That no one in this whole wide world
Could mean so much to me!

| |  Its good to hear your poem about fathers day. I have tears of joy reading it. It made my whole life complete reading. Anyway i have greeted my fathers day. i said to him that i love him always. I kissed him as a sign of loving himonly in his cheek. we go to mass to celebrate thisday and prayed that God would Bring us to gladness, happy family, loving and harmonious family living in our place. Godbless us always. My dad for meis a great dad, hesupport me everything i needed.that wouldbe all!

| |  This poem is great. I can apply it to my father who was my hero and my best friend who we lost in 1989. Still think of him often and cherish the memories I had with him as a little girl.
This morning our oldest daughter called to wish me a Happy Father's Day. I thought it was so funny since she caught me off guard. My husband is coaching softball and out of town until later this evening. Am sure our girls will call him when he gets home.

Seems like on Sunday's it's when I get lonely...for my mom and dad etc. and after being with friends and family all week its especially bad today...but are you okay with hubby being gone all the time? It would drive me nuts. | | | |

| | Actually I am not happy with my husband being gone most of the summer. It does drive me nuts. The month of July he will be gone 22 days of the 31 all with softball. Our girls did not see him on Father's Day. If it wasn't so hot, I would have gone to visit my dad's grave. It's a long drive and I didn't want to go alone. | | | |
