Very blant Renarks. Do you feel hurt?

It happened in my case also and every one should have experienced this situation in one or more occasions. Even though things have to kept in transparency they want to keep it secret for some time may be to exhibit their authority or supremacy over the seeker not always a welcome trend. Some times even though there are many ways of communicating the message decently yet they prefer crude methods. Some times it hurt the information seeker which situation can't altogether be avoided.

There is always a nice way of saying things, and he obviously did not think to do so or how you might feel about this.

I hate it when people do that to me too. It is all of the time and every time I turn around. It does not matter who it is. they talk to me in that manner when I am trying to be kind to them. It makes me very mad.

Yes I have encountered people like that. I was shocked with how the person talked to me but I did not get hurt cause I did not took it too seriously.

People are different in many ways. I just said to myself that we cannot please everybody and no one is perfect. People are sometimes tactless that they don't know they could be hurting someone with the way they talk. I too may have been tactless or talked bluntly to someone, I don't know but I'm sure I didn't mean it and I think the same about other people too. That they don't mean to be mean or blunt unless otherwise the person will talk to me bluntly more than twice. If that's the case, I'll do the same to him/her. And maybe snap their heads off hehe (JOKE!)

Hello dear subha. A different manner of speaking or talking to people produces a different effect. That is the so-called the art of communicating with people. A person good at this is sure to win a lot of love from people and be more successful in his business.

In our daily life, we often have to deal with different kinds of people. It is also something that we have to keep learning how while dealing with them.

As to the person who talked to you in that manner, I would also feel hurt based on his tune. But more needs to be learned after having more chances to communicate with him to see if this is his nature or what before we decide whether to make friends with him or not.

HI subha, I always try not to get hurt by that kind of straight-forward person. There's so many of them, even in my relatives . And I know that you won't let those people get you down, good luck with your work dear .

Yes,I agree with you,subha.And most of the time,there are other ways to express one's words.But things still happen once and once again.

Don't think he was being mean, or meant to be hateful. Did you ever think that they would have to work out a place for you. That at that point he did not know. He will check to see what is available when you get there. I think you push your self into too many things too fast and that has a lot to do with you being pushed from place to place. sometimes there is not an easy or nice way to say things. Sometimes we say what we mean and in this case he didn't have any idea where you would sit. What was the importance of knowing where you was sitting before you got there on Monday. to make sure that you really had a seat.
I don't mean to sound mean but I have followed this discussion from the start and it appears to me that you want everyone to stop what they are doing to just work on what you need. You need to have some patience and let them work out what is going on, I had ask you before what you do at this place and what you meant by projects, but you did not answer. I assume that you are being transferred to a new unit and, and they will have to make a spot for you, and until they work it out could not tell you anything. Yes he could of maybe put it a bit nicer, but you are dealing with bosses that don't care what you think or feel, he is there to make a spot for you whether there is one open or not. Maybe that is putting a burden on him also.
