how many dogs can you have?  

No, I would hate that job! I work in a hospital and also clean up a lot of poop and other bodily fluids but I'd rather work with people than with animals. (I wouldn't see an animal come to harm or go neglected, I just prefer people)

This is a really good discussion because pets are important in everyday life because without pets things are too quiet,and without fun,even though I am sure that some people prefer things quiet,even though I know I would lose my mind if we did not have pets around to keep us company,and I am sure that different people like different types of pets,I am sure that some people like dogs,especially certain breeds of dogs,and then I am sure there are people who do not like dogs,and prefer other types of animals as their pets,I like dogs,and I think they are a good pet because they are loyal,they protect their home and master,and they will lay with you when you are sleeping especially smaller dogs,and my family has always owned dogs, and they have always been chihuahuas because we like smaller dogs because they are easier to train,and easier to feed and take care of,and they do not take up much space,I wish we had more chihuahuas even though dog food is getting expensive and so is taking them to the vet,even though it would be really neat to own a kennel because then I would see all kinds of different dogs,and me and my fiance could run it together so we could be together all the time,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

I would love that Job very much it was my Dream to be a Kennel Owner but that Dream will never come true now

I dont have any dogs wich isnt fair because I love dogs and want one someday. But for somereason my parents dont want to get a dog wich they think I wont take care of him. Wich I will but it will be hard when I go to work to take care of him and to walk him. But I still want a dog and hopefully ill get one someday.

I don't know if I would like to be a kennel owner, but I would love to have a bunch of dogs. We do have a very large fenced in yard and we have been thinking of getting another dog or two however I recently lost my job and my husband and I decided we will wait until I get another one before adding to the family. With the cost of vets and such we don't want to incur any other additional expenses at the present time. Buy I would love to have a few more dogs and the kids would love it as well.

When I got my miniture Shnauzer...she was a rescue dog..I went to my friend's house to get her and when we reahed her basement door..she said don't be afraid..I just looked at her kinda funny but when she opened the door I swear there was a wave of shnauzers come out of there! They surrounded me! I was for a moment a little nervous..LOL..She told me the other day that she had 16 of her own and then sometimes she took in rescue dogs to find them homes..she is a breeder. I am here to tell you..it would be to much for me to have that many. I have three but two of my smallest really equal one..lol..I went in her house and it was in great shape to have that many dogs. I was expecting it to be a little messy at least..or have a doggy smell..but nothing! It was incredible actually. I guess it just depends on the person and how they are able to manage. If I could accomodate that many..I would love having them around. Kennel owner sounds fun.

any job that you like would always a good one as long as you enjoy what you do.... I too am like you my friend if only the lot is we have here is that spacious in which lots of dogs could run and just play then I think I would want to have at least 20 of them and at least to of each kind then breed more love dogs a lot..

If you replace the dogs with cats I would not mind this job. Just as you are very fond of dogs I am crazy about cats. But cannot keep any at home because there is no one at home for 15 hours of the day so it would be difficult feeding the cats.

If is a BIG word. I am couped up in the city because the place I was workin at closed, that's another story. The work that is available now, contract work. Until things change that's my life. I train working dogs, obediance, guard, tracking and agility training. I had alot of dogs mostly Bouviers and wold like that life back in the country...

i live right down the road from the local animal shelter. i keep thinking of trying to get a job there, but dont know if i have the heart for it. i would love playing with them but dont know if i could handle dealing with the sick ones or the thought of putting them out just cuz they didnt get adopted. idk. maybe i will give them a resume. would feel like an emotionally rewarding job.. would have to find some darn good allergy pills though!
