I have a low on calories and love to eat lots of salads and fibrous fruits and vegetables. A plate full of my salad includes lots of cabbage, radish, carrot some borcilli and not to forget the red tomatoes. Its nice to have a plate full everyday, twice without fail! Whats yours!

It's really nice to try lots of different kinds of salads and especially to use different salad leaves when in season. For a change why not try spinach leaves stirred in with orange segments, dressed with a little of the squeezed orange mixed with olive oil. Throw on a handful of olives and the salad is ready. Citrus fruits work really well with green salad leaves.

I had a salad that I got from whole foods today. It had a little bit of everything in it. It was really pretty good. I had it for dinner and it was fairly low cal and delcious. I like having salad bar for dinner every once in awhile. It makes up the monotony of everyday dinner.

Hi ,
I too like Salads - mostly simple ones with Onion,Tomato,
Carrots etc . I have also tasted Russian Salads and found them
to be quite tasty and good too.
Salads are quite important in that thes provide our bodies with a
lot of fibres and other nutrients too.
However ,there are a number of days when I do not have much salad
in my diet .I do plan to keep such days to minimum .

hmmm your recipe seems yummy. I'm not a great fan of salads and we don't make it very often. But i do love the grated carrot, beetroot and onion mixture with salt and a dash of lime to make it taste tangy :)
Try if you like it and let me know if you liked it or not :)
