I would love to know why Prophecy is no longer taught in most Churches.  | |  The past few years I have been all over the Country. Through this journey I have also been to several Churches in each place my family and I have been in. One thing I'm having the hardest time trying to comprehend it this.
Why isn't the churches preaching Prophecy? I don't know about most who are church goes but I really see many of the Prophecies opening up and wide right now. Things are happening and building up to what it says will happen, yet I don't see anyone preaching about it. Why? What is the Church scared of? Loosing people who pay money? If anyone knows anything about the Bible itself. Most of it is Prophecy and most of it has already been fulfilled. There is little left.

I think that prophesy is "scary" to most "typical" church-goers. They are used to getting just a few verses of scripture, tied up neatly with some stories with a moral lesson at the end of a convenient 30-minute sermon. People also "church-shop" to fine one where they feel "comfortable" ..... no stepping on toes, please!
Now, for the truly faithful, though, they will search and find the few that do preach as He would have. The pastors who do preach well, and explain what is going on today, and how it ties into what was foretold in the Bible are out there, but they're so few of them. Keep looking, and you'll find them. They are usually note in the "standard" religions .... they are out on their own, tending their sheep (and feeding them very well!)!!!

Almost all them I'm finding seem more like a Bible chop shop. Go here to this sentence read. Stop, now go to this sentence stop. Now this is how Jesus would want you to live. Stop, Bow your head and pray. Play music, Worship, time to go home.
I miss being able to go through the whole stories written there in the Word of God. I'm finding more and more happening today that was written and yet so many still have no clue about it.

But those who do preach prophecy mostly focus on the eschatological events with an overload of the latest news information but nothing if at all about Christ, which is the center and focus of all visions and revelation, and of how to prepare and hasten His coming in our daily life today.
