We have had some hard times in the last 2 years as alot of you know. We lost the man that was like a dad to us. we lost the property that we had been taking care of for the last 7 years and all the renters had to move. the owners kids didnt want it when he past away. we had to move to a new city and we dont like it here. we have had money issues. alot of you know all of this. well there is a good chance that we found a job doing peroperty management again. the pay is only about a 1000 a month but all bills are paid with a 3 bedroom apt. it puts us back in texas where we want to be close to family or at least an hour drive away. it is a small town which we prefer. the owner is going to come down 2nd week of july to visit with us and meet us to see if he likes us and so forth. if he does it will give us a week to get everything together and move. woooooo quick move but it will be worth it. i hope i can say uhaul here we come again. i hate moving but this will be a good move for us. we hate shreveport, la. please everyone keep fingers crossed for us and wish us luck.

That is terrible - but what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. And I believe that you will be a stronger family once you've gotten through all these stuff! I sincerely hope that you and your family will get the job. And I hope you're not putting all your eggs in just one basket, so to speak. I'm sure you can find/or are still looking for property management jobs. I'm sure there are a lot now since people are more likely to rent than to buy. And then there's the case of those who got foreclosed.

I lost my dad many years ago, one month prior to my wedding
I know how exactly you feel
we are not in a good situation financially either
hubby is in automotive industry that is hit hard this time
I wish he works in different field but it's too late now
anyway wish us all the best hope we can all make it to 2010 not losing more than we already lost

Oh this sounds like a wonderful opportunity - will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you, sure you will be on pins and needles waiting for the meeting and results. What town in Texas? I spent 10 years there - 5 north of Houston and 5 in Midland (west Texas) - actually have 2 texan in the family, my 2 middle children.

Good luck! Keep on fighting and surviving. Everything will be alright.
We lost my dad 3 years ago. Still, it's like yesterday he just leave us. We're lucky that this is our own land and my mom has her own income. It's not much but it help us a bit. Still, there's debt to pay and documents to settle. My dad was the only one that really can drive so we're having transportation trouble. It was hard at first but gradually, everything is solve one by one. When I think back again, it seem like we've been really strong and move on.
That's why I want to say the same thing to you. One day ,you'll look at it and realize, how far you've been and keep on surviving.
