Does love hurt you?

I think you have never fallen in love. So you have never felt the pain in love. Don't you love your parents. If some thing or some one hurts your parent, don't you feel pain. If yes then you get your answer. This the way love hurts you. Love is the thread that binds two person emotionally. If the thread gets break then your emotions also breaks, and you know that when emotions break it hurts.
That's how love hurts.

Sometimes our expectations of someone can blind us to the real person, so we sort of wind up hurting ourselves. Love can hurt real bad; sometimes it's the other person's fault though.

Well love do makes us suffer.. but what choice do we have?
When you care for someone and things don't go as planned, or when something bad happens to that persone, or when that person doesn't feel the same things we do, there is a lot of suffering involved, but anyway it is better to suffer for love then never suffer and never love.

I agree with you. Love doesn't hurt. It's the absense of love that creates situations that hurt us, both emotionally and sometimes physically.

Love and pain goes hand in hand. Love without pain is just a make-believe. But you don't have to worry cause pain will mold you to a better person and make you mature. So never be afraid to experience pain. It will let grow up even more. Trust me! Just be strong!

-true love hurts sometimes, and it's natural. when we are committed to our loved ones, the feeling of happiness and pain are there. For example, when two people got married today, after two months of living together,they're happy but on the third month, her husband cheated her, because she loved her husband so much she got hurt upon knowing it.

-it could also be that we are the one who's doing things to make us feel hurt in love, for example, a bf and gf, the gf really loves her bf a lot, but her bf is a womanizer and always cheating her, knowing that situation, if the gf can't change the attitude of her bf, then she must leave him. But because,she really loved her bf, she never did leave her bf and just bear to accept all the pain. I think,even if you ask anyone about this situation, the decision will be to leave the bf.so if she did'nt, then she's the one who's doing things to make herself feel pain. After all, there's many guys there that she deserved better than her womanizer bf.

Hi silver, to me love always hurts, it hurts the ones you love most as you are closest to them and that is why they get everything you feel which hurts, also when it hurts you in return there is always that you can hurt the other person without realising even though you do love them. Love is a strange thing but it does if you let it conquer the highs and lows of any relationship...LoLo

My idea about love is that, there's no love when you don't get hurt. It's part of loving and it's also one of the hightlights of anyone's life. We get hurt because of our differences, different likes and different principles. That's why when you love, it's best to have extension of understanding, but please don't lose respect on yourself. Love can get anyone blind, and so, it's still important to be considerate to yourself when you're not treated fairly. So, yes, love can hurt you a million ways yet, it's still the best experience to teach you about life.

But the great thing is love is something that everyone should feel and understand. So many songs are about love and you could see that it always has two sides. The happy side and the sad side. Love is a gift that need to be treasured. It's the person who hurt himself, it's not love who hurt the person. Love is love and love is always love, we can fall in love in wrong person and that's the case of hurting ourself.
