a tribute to a friend.

sometimes it is not how we live on this earth matters. but how we live and what kind of behaviour we have been with our friens and relatives. but of all our good and bad deeds are somewhere appear in our whole life. when we all hear any bad news rgardins someone's death who are closed with our relation. one thing i pray to god that may his soul rest in perfect peace.

Hello Antiquelady. I am sorry to hear you have lost Elenor. I hope she is at peace now, and that you soon will be feeling better. Losing a friend or anyone we love is the greatest sorrow in life. Again, I am sorry to hear you are suffering the loss of this friend.

its a really sad news that your friend has passed away.and i think that you friend indeed has a very sad life,and she may have died even due to the mental problems she was having.

all i can say to comfort you now,is that,everyone on earth has to pass away one day,but they will be remembered in the hearts of their beloved forever and in that way they will be immortal.

Oh that's really a sad case to know. What an innocent person, to have to say goodbye to this beautiful world in a young age. Perhaps, it is her destiny, everything is fated. Perhaps, this may also a good thing for her to leave, rather to continue suffer for the rest of her life. May she will rest in peace and be blessed.

It's hard at these times, but be comforted knowing that your friend is now free from pain, worry and sadness. If you believe in Heaven then picture her there with her loved ones who went before.
Remember the joys in her life and the good things you shared.
She sounds like a really nice person and I'm sure she wouldn't want you to be so sad.

My husband was always 'philosophical' about death and even moreso when he was given the terrible news he had terminal cancer.
Before he passed away in April he made me promise that I'd 'Remember not how he died, but how he lived.' and to picture him reunited with our son and his favourite Aunt. He wanted me to see his death as just another 'trip away' and even 'joked' that I'd at least stop panicking whenever I heard of a coach crash. (He was a driver on the Continent for many years) It helps me cope when I feel sad though it's still so fresh. He also used to say Grief was a lesson we all had to learn!

Sadly life is often hard and some people seem to have more than their fair share of 'troubles', so much so that death can be a blessing. It's also the one thing we will all experience and no-one knows when so it should make what life we have all the more precious.

Perhaps her death will make her son realise that we only get one life! I hope so. Drug and Alcohol abuse ruin many lives. (I'm a care-worker so see it all too often)

May you soon be able to laugh at the memories her name brings to mind and not feel too sad! May your God bless you.

Both of my parents died of cancer; my mother died only a month ago. She had an inoperable brain tumor. She was diagnosed in December of 2008, so it only took six months for the tumor to kill her.

From what I had heard from family members who saw her right before she died, she looked and felt awful. I am so glad she went fast. That is one relieving thing about someone with cancer dying. They are no longer suffering.

Elenor is feeling no pain now. Try not to dwell on the sadness. It is okay to grieve for as long as you need to, but remembering all the good times you had with her is the best way to honor her.

My thoughts are with you as you grieve the passing and celebrate the life of your friend.

I am sorry about your friend who died from cancer. she is now not suffering anymore and is in a better place. it is also sad to hear about her younger son who is a paraplegic and hope that her older son will get help soon with his drug problems.

Um.... wanted to tell you that I've not been feeling like myself lately and have taken a break from mylot. Nothing comes to mind that I want to say because I think I'm just plain overloaded and mindless right now. Don't worry, I'll still be around but not as much till I get my head on straight again. I really hate to hear that jo. The passing of loved ones can be devastating.
