Would you force your friend to wear seat belt while riding at your car?

I usually ask people who are in my car to wear the seat belt, if they refuse to i try to insist stating that if i get a fine for that they will pay that. Usually this threat works and they put the seat belt afterwards.

Yes I would definitely make them where their seat belts. No belts No drive! I can't believe people would be so stupid to decide not to where a seat belt when you hear about this all the time. If they were wearing their seat belt they would be alive today.

Absolutely! If you want to ride in my car, you will wear a seat belt. I have said to people in my car that as soon as they put on their seatbelts, we could be on our way. I have had to wait before until the passenger realized I was serious.
It is way to dangerous out there to take chances with someone else's safety. Could you imagine the guilt if someone got injured while you were driving because you didn't insist on them wearing a seatbelt?

Yes, I do. It's the law and like you said everyone needs to be safe, and you need to be able to sleep at night. Seat belts are no guarantee but it is best to take all safety measures.

A few weeks ago my husband received a fine, because he was driving without a seatbelt, and I was furious at him. The money is one thing and we could have spent it on something else, but I was especially angry at him because he didn't think about his own safety. The experience taught him a lesson, and he has started to wear his seatbelt every time. If other people are riding in our car, they also have to put on their seatbelt. I always insist on that, because safety is the most important thing.

In my country there is a law that enforces the use of seatbelts. And if I´m driving, I don´t start the car until everyone is wearing it. If someone says he won´t wear it, I ask him (her) to please, get out of the car. It´s that simple.
My mom has a tendency of forgetting but I remind her nicely everytime and she does it.
I will not drive either on another car with a driver that won´t put his seatbelt.

Honestly I can't say I would or not. I don't wear my seatbelt and that is for personal reasons as well. So if my passenger wants to wear a seat belt by all means wear it. But I am not going to force anyone to use a seatbelt if they don't want to. However I am not taking their no seat belt charge if we do get pulled over that is their own change.

Yes, I will persistently tell them to wear seatbelt. It is not only for me but also to keep them safe. No matter how I drive safely, accidents can still happened especially if we encounter reckless driver.
