Yeah, some of the tasks rewards are a bit disappointing, especially when they have many steps to completing the task. That is why I look through all of them and see what it is that I need to do, estimate how long it will take and how much work, and see if that matches up with what they are offering. That is why so many of them are left on the table.

I think that I offered more than enough for what I asked to do, I would love if you would check it out and give me a review for the task!

Actually, after two hours of searching I finally found out that I had to go back into the task and press the post button Anyway, it should show now. I don't see it though because it is my task, so please let me know if you see it.

That's a different kettle of fish and could be abused after earnings had been added so I can't see that taking place ever

Hmm, never thought about it that way. I don't see how a person could abuse earnings gotten from a discussion by changing it after, but it does seem possible.

If we have the option to edit after we post can you imagine what chaos there would be if a user started arguing or flaming the OP? Discussions would be deleted or edited by users left, right and centre and how could myLot track earnings then?

Well, I would assume that each person would only have editing capabilities to anything they posted, and not other members. But I see what you are getting at.

Wow, that is impressive! I wish my time and my writing skills would allow me to do those writing tasks! With school I just don't have the time for it, and I'm not really that good on writing about subjects that don't interest me personally.

If you find users with two accounts they should be reported. It is against the Terms of myLot to have two accounts.

When I had my task up I found I was overwhelmed with PMs and theyALL had to be deleted. I see no point in receiving a PM too when the task is completed because it already appears in the task itself making a lot of extra work

Mine was simple and did not involve any clicks but I can see that yours could be fun for those who love cheating on here

Maybe you should have someone rewrite your post so the steps for completing the task is clear. I think I did a pretty good job of outlining what I expect, so I don't believe I will have any problems. Time will tell however, and there are always people that misunderstand, misinterpret, etc. I would be more than happy to look one of your posts over if you wish.

I have seen one glitch yesterday in one of the tasks where the text boxes did not show. I would hope that most would be smart enough not to accept these tasks, but if that has happened to you, I would alert admin before any funds are lost.

I have seen one of these private messages, and it does not say that you have to approve them right away. You also have the option to return the task to the participant, reject it, or even reject and block the user. I don't plan on approving anyone who does not do the simple task that I ask, but I will be returning them with further instructions if it seems they misunderstood.

I think that you will have great success with the tasks with a little guidance and assistance. I will be sharing my experience in further discussions and with you in PM.

We can not prove the new account is their own.They will be having separate paypal id, email id etc and as also it is allowed to have more than one account in a household.

Having two accounts in one household is definately allowed but you suggested that there were users who opened a seperate account fot tasks. That would be against the Terms.

I am sure the new users with zero posts will not take the task in the very first day. But how to prove them as they are having two accounts? We don't have any proof at all.

You know what? Don't waste your time worrying about people who may have two accounts just to do tasks. As long as they sign up like they are supposed to, and stay active like you want them to, then its MyLot's problem to worry about. If they don't complete the task to your satisfaction, you don't have to approve the payment, its just that simple.

AH! Now I get it it. I had many users with 0 posts who did my task too and I do believe that many use myLot only for tasks. I know several users who have less than 100 posts but have alredy reached payout more than once because they do the tasks. That's where the big earnings are on myLot now

It sure does. But my points have been climbing steadily since I started doing those link builder tasks. I figured that I could make it climb even more if I got people who do the link builder and writing tasks under my wing. I figured I could help myself and help them at the same time. But if this doesn't help much, I have a few other things up my sleeve for this summer.... lol

Nothing beats a failure but a try. As long as you follow the guidelines, your task will not be rejected. But starting and responding to discussions is fun too! That's what's kept me here for the past two years!

If laziness is the only thing keeping you away from the tasks, then you are missing out. All of them earn you money that will get you to payout faster, but the real value of doing tasks is the information you get. With writing tasks, you get practice in article writing. For link building tasks, you learn about page rank, and from the PTC tasks, you find which PTC sites are the most solvent, and are paying out the most.

I say, one day when you are out of discussions to respond to, you take a look at the tasks that are available at the time. You might just surprise yourself.
