What Would You Do?

All I know is my husband better not attempt this at home... Maybe the woman doesn't know how to cook very well. Still I think there would be more tactful ways of dealing with that than to order a pizza. Maybe offer to cook more or to help with the cooking. If she can cook fine and he simply dismisses her meal than there are more problems in their relationship than an inability to cook a good meal.

Saved the dinner for next day, sooner or later someone will want what I cook, I will eat pizza with him and when the urges of killing him disappear, I will ask why he wouldn't eat what I cook.

I would ask whether he doesn´t like what I made (and why?) or he just wants to eat pizza this evening. Anyway, I would put the meal away and make sure to explain that if it not eaten today, it will be eaten tomorrow.

ill kept what i have cooked in the refrigerator and have it the next meal since pizza is one of my favorite... lol... id forgive him for that.

but the next time he does it again, id say he go eat pizza himself while i eat what i cook. that'll send him the right message.

My husband would not do this...because I would kill him.

I'm sorry if your husband does this. If my husband did the first thing I would do (you know, before shoving him out the door and pushing him down a flight of stairs ) would be to talk to him about how I feel. If I put in the time and effort to cook a good meal then I expect him to eat it and if he didn't want what I was cooking then he should've called home and said that he wanted pizza for dinner so that I knew not to cook. My husband and I try to talk through all of our problems, so hopefully that would just about settle it and that would be that.

I hope you can get this figured out with your husband. It's not fair for you to have to put in the time and effort and then have him come home and blow it off.

Hi Clrumfelt!I would really be happy for the change. I will stack all the food I cooked in the refrigerater for the next day and enjoy the pizza.I am sick and tired of cooking and eating the food cooked by me everyday and I do need a change!!And its sad that in actual life my spouse eats only what I cook.

Oh, that will be a dream come true, for me....If only he does that once in my life time....He likes home cooked food & i like pizzas & all junk food too....I hate cooking, & he loves my cooking....

Whoop his azz three times. One for the time I slaved over the hot stove to make it, two for wasting food, and three for wasting money on food when there was food in the house!!! I would be so mad at him I wouldn't know what to say!
