Do you use your cell phone as calculator?

I do the same as you. I have a calculator that ran out of batteries and I haven't even bothered to replace it. I just use the one on my phone, an I use it quite often. There is even a shortcut programmed on my phone's keyboard so I can access it quickly. I agree that the cellphone is very useful. I'm glad my phone has a calculator. I don't know how I'd survive without one.

I rarely do that, but still it's really useful.Mobiles are equipped with great tiny little stuff of course but calculator is not my favorite one;)

Yes, many times, in fact most of the times, it is handy and easy, to use it. I also use my cell phone as watch also, quick to view time and do basic scheduling and keep the remainders. It is a good gadget if you use it in a proper way, depending on the functionality of your model, it can be used as even palmtop or mini computer for your basic functioning. But dude if you are a student avoid taking it in your exams rooms or will be dangerous

I have a Nokia cell phone. the most basic model available in the market, as i don`t use it freqently and only during emergencies. Most of the time i use my landline which is more convenient. However the best feature of the phone is the calculator which i need and use very often. I had a seperate scientific casio calculator which i did not use very much. After getting my phone i gave the calculator away and now i use the phone calculator only which is most convenient.

the manufacturers really take us great convenience, to make full use of the cp.lol...

My cell phone has built-in calculator, but I little use it, it's not very useful, but I still like this setting, if I want to calculate I can use the cell phone, actually I use my cell phone as a alarm.

Yes I do use my cellphone as a calculator. Though Im also that lazy enough that Ill try to compute mentally.LOL I just sometimes find it troublesome to look for my cellphone in my bag which already has a lot of stuff. I sometimes put it in my bag when I was texting and need to get rid of it right away perhaps because class is already starting. Though if it was on my pocket I can get it but Im too lazy to press the keys locating the Organizer then scrolling to the Calculator and then typing. The OS of my cellphone isnt exactly that fast, and for quick smaller unit calculations I mightve been done solving mentally faster than taking out my cellphone for calculations.

When the numbers are that huge or complicated like with many decimals and not whole numbers, well, my first reaction would be to ask my seatmate or friend, they'd try to solve it mentally while I try to solve it also. Then Ill look for my cellphone/calculator when I had enough mental calculations. If he/she cannot compute as fast, we would just laugh about it.LOL
