Have you ever been fired?

This is a really good discussion because I know jobs are really important when it comes to peoples everday lives since people have to have money to survive and the easiest way to get money is with a job,I have sure that everyone has probably been fired for one reason or another in their lifetime especially if you work for a jerk of a boss,since there are a lot of those out there,and I am sure that different people have had different reasons why they are fired,and I am sure that some people think that they were unjustly fired,and I know that everyone is different,and that no two people are the same since everyone has different ideas,different opinions, and different preferences,and I am glad that everyone is different because it is the differences that make life interesting,and keep people from getting dull and boring, I have only had one real job at that was at Arby's about two years ago I worked there about a month and I got fired,they fired me because they said I was too slow, which I think is crap,because they only gave me three hour shifts,and a bunch of my shifts were cut short,and I did not even get full training,since I only worked like two weeks out of the month I was there,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

I've never been fired, but once I thought I was going to get fired so I quit! That manager didn't have a reason to fire me or anything, but she was such a jerk and then she blew off a meeting she called me in for on an off day. So I figured that she was up to no good if she didn't even care to show up for the meeting. So I wrote her a long nasty letter and quit. I was so mad because that was normally my volunteering day and she called me in for a stupid meeting on that day. She gave me the worst days (it was a commission job in retail) and she was so mean all the time for no good reason. I think she was angry that I clearly knew way more about that industry than she did, but I swear I had no desire to take her position, I only wanted the job as a part time thing while I was in school.

Good thing that I have never been fired. I always give my best to my work and try not to break any policies. I haven't had a problem about being fired, usually its about resigning because the management would not let me go hehehe

I got fired after working a month for godfathers. Ironically I was about to quit. They fired me because they said I spoke improperly to an assistant manage. Yeah I will like them to prove it. I think though they really didn't need as many workers. They only gave two hours shifts once a week. Wasnt worth it. It doesn't affect me now because I dont put it on my resume or applications.
