A joyride to relieve stress, would it work for you?

Whenever my brother was in stress, he doesn't like to sit in a lonely corner, or close his bedroom to think over a single matter for a long time. He rather drive his car out, aimlessly go around places to see the streets and breath the outside fresh air. After an hour joyride, he might feel much better, and he can clear his head out. Do you think that will work if you are in stress?

I think that driving around could be a good stress buster, the fresh air and getting your mind on other things is always good.

It used to work for me during the time I had a sports car. I would take it on the highway and just floor the thing. Now I have a eco car it just doesn't work when it comes to stress relieve.

I used to do that a lot when I was 18 and I loved it even more when it was like 2am and their was not a car on the highway. Now I like to take drives out of town with my kids but the funnest part is rolling all those windows down and having the air just blast you in the face, yea--that's a joyride alright.

sometimes... the more you stressed, the more disastrous it might turn out... better avoid driving because it may lead to accidents... i have experienced once....

Hello, I do not really understand what this 'joyride' is, when I have heard the expression before I thought that it meant for someone to be stealing a car, that is taking it without asking. Then I think they drive it around and leave it somewhere else. So I think that this would not help to ease stress at all as you could get very stressed hoping the policeman does not catch you. I think you should tell your brother that this is a very bad thing to do and he is bad to do so.

I have done this before. Being alone in a car is a good place to think about things. I usually feel better afterwards. Once I almost drove about 40 miles up and 40 miles back!

This could work whenever you are stressed, but after you clear your head are you going back to the same environment that was stressing you out? Stress has been known to cause many diseases including being linked to cancer. When you are stressed your body's immune system weakens and it loses the energy to fight invaders. This includes cancerous cells. There are natural supplements you can take that can help you deal with stress. Since we live such stressful lives with all the stressors around us, taking all natural supplements is not a bad idea. Check out www.abenitez.my4life.com
