Do you take your responsibilities seriously?

Whenever I accept a job to do, I would like to be serious about doing what I can do to fulfill my responsibilities. It's not good to accept a job and then decide to play safe and not do anything about it. As the Bible says, "whatever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might." That is really the best thing to do: to give all what we can when we accept a job or find a job to do!

How very true this is Pose. I have experienced this in life and I still have a problem with priorities. I am always responsible when it comes to the immediate like cleaning, etc..no problem, but things that bug me, sometimes I put them to the side, and just try to forget about them for some reason and in the long run it comes back to hit me right in the face..I am working hard now to change this aspect..I must stop people pulling on me here and there is the main issue..that is the root of it I know. I must keep focused, for in the long run, it is my life and my family who will be affected.

Hi, Pose! You are so right. Taking responsibility seriously shoule be a habit that each one of us develop. No task should be overlooked, big or small. It should be inculcated into the minds of young people that one cannot go through life without assuming responsibilities. We can start them young, taking responsibility can be habit forming. After all, how can you be trusted to take on the important tasks if you can't handle the small ones.

Yes i take my responsibilities seriously. responsibilities are something which is a part of one's life. one must take it very seriously. moreover one is doing something on behalf of someone. there is a responsibility of every citizen to take care of their maintenance of society.

Hi Pose, I totally agree with you. No job is considered less worthy or demeaning. A job well done whether by a teacher, doctor or a sweeper is a job well done!I take my responsibilities very seriously and I like to finish any job that I have begun or that is assigned to me. If for some reason, i have not been able to give much attention or do it as well as it could have been done, I feel very guilty ...I tell my children the same thing, to take pride in whatever they are doing and do the jobs assigned to them to the best of their abilities and never to shirk from responsibilities...

i take all of my responsibilities very seriously and always have. almost to a fault and to the point that i really do not know how to relax when i actually do have some time to do so. today for instance my son and i are going out all day with my mom for a day trip and knowing that i worked all day yesterday getting the house cleaned, the laundry, running errands, writint out and mailing bills and cooking and doing my online work so that i could take today and not have any of that on my mind. i have always been very responsible even as a child and teenager.

I always take any responsibility given to me seriously be it at home or in the office.

we often ignore that responsibilites.as what you said,because we are young and have big dreams,so we like to adventure for something and could not think about what will happen and it's results,we have no experience for something,so what we have done have some risks that we can see unexpected.when we understand what's wrong,the thing has happen,what we take responsibilites seriously.

I guess No. My mom always complains me ... even all my friends also complains me for this that I am not at all serious about my responsibilities. My dreams are big and my responsibilities to full fill those dreams are big too but I think I am lagging some where... I am not serious kind of person... I always try to make do things in every possible funny way... Finally I am not a Serious for my responsibilities.

Does that mean I have to frown all the time? I am married to a man who thinks that if I act happy and g - (cannot say that word, some group usurped it for their own use) I am not taking things seriously even responsibilities. So does this mean that I have to show by my sour face that I am being responsible? That is why I have the idea of being serious about responsibilities. It sounds like that old adage, "If you can't do a thing well, don't do it."
So maybe it is the way one puts it that makes one shrirk obligations. If you said that the biggest thing started with the smallest step, to me that would mean that every building starts with a nail.
As for being responsible, you can do things right, try, but it all depends on who you are working for, spouse, or whatever because if he never considers you good enough, you will not get more tasks of a better quality.
