carpets in bathroom?????????

in my house we only have carpet on the stairs i think its much easy to clean wooden floors rather than carpets because they can stain, i was watching hotel inspector where some hotels had carpet in their bathrooms which is full of wee because men have a problem with aim lol i wouldn't like a carpet in my house because thats all i would be tinking about

Hi OConnell, carpets in bathooms! That could be really gross. I don't have any carpets in the house, the whole place is tiled as is the style here. But carpet in the bathroom would just go mouldy. There is often water on the bathroom floor from stepping out of the shower or splashing water in the basin. If it was carpeted it would definitely go mouldy in the winter as some years it can be so damp that the cold penetrates the stones.

Us poor men always get the blame ;0) only joking it's true! I hate carpets in bathrooms, more so for the reason of getting them wet when you have a bath, accidents do happen and you do splash water over the side getting in and out or if you are vigorous with your scrubbing! It's so easy to spill stuff on the carpet and it smells afterwards! Carpets are not hygienic in bathrooms.
