is it shame when a man cried?

Hello there my friend,

I don't believe that crying will degrade a man.I rather admire men who never ashamed of crying when he feels the world is tumbling down upon his shoulders.This only shows that he is a kind of person who is true to himself.I found men who cries as honest and good person.Becoz being true to ourselves in the most important aspect i can count on.How can we be true and honest to others when we can't even be true to ourselves?

It is just the society's views that men who cried are not man enough.

That is the general perception that when man cries, he shows his weakness and eventually ends up being taunted as a weakling. But that is not supposed to be. I think we men should be given the chance to express our feelings too and we can from time to time express it by crying. It should not be considered as weakness but rather a sign that we are humans too.

No, I don't think so, after all man is also a human being having the feelings, he can break with the situations like women. But why we don't find man crying is that man are more practical compared to women. And because of these they managed to overcome the tuff situations, but that does not mean he will always. Now a days both man and woman are same in every field, so why man can't cry. I think it depends on the situations and the capability of man to handle the same. There is nothing wrong or shame if man cries. Just my views.

No. I find it more that when a man cry, he is being true to himself. One time I saw my husband cry was during the death of my father-in-law. He was really devastated by his sudden death, thus he cant help shedding tears of sorrows.

i don't think it's shameful at all for a man to cry. they're human, just like us women, so why shouldn't they be allowed to cry? personally, i cry quite often, the smallest thing can make me cry. i get frustrated very easily, and when i'm frustrated, i cry! it's easier for me to cry than to get angry. crying is not easy to hide or stop yourself from doing. i have seen my boyfriend cry three or four times, but all for very good reasons, not just small things. one time he had a huge fight with his brother, and i mean huge, they were screaming at each other. another time, the same thing happened with his dad. the 2 times before that, we'd just got together, we spoke about his ex, he got upset because he realised she promised she'd always be there and then she just stabbed him in the back, which made him realise that almost EVERYONE that promised him they'd be there has stabbed him in the back. then i told him i'd always be there, to which he replied ''but that's the thing, the ones that SAY that never mean it.''

so yeah, they were good enough reasons to cry! i know men are supposed to look strong, and sometimes i find it a bit silly, like when men cry for the smallest things like i do, but i don't think it's shameful at all.

People usually consider it as a shame when a man cries, but I don't think it should be like that. They are also human beings and have all right to cry. Crying is a very good stress breaker. I have never seen my dad crying in 26 years of my life. But, my husband cries often. It doesn't mean that I make him cry often. It agin depens on person to person. Men should be given all rights to cry.

Well, I do think men are far more strong then money and it's very rare a men usually expresses himself by crying but I believe that a man shouldn't feel shame while crying as its a part of life.A men usually controls his feeling but they are as week as Womens from heart.

I prefer cry in a unmanned room.Why because i do not want to hurt other by my cry and i do cry rarely.Crying is an aid and i can say it is a gift for human beings.Why because crying decreases the stress and depression.Crying let out your feelings and you do not want to dump anything in your mind and you will be relaxed. Crying does not depend upon gender.Male crying is not a shame.

i don't think so since ppl here in china mostly hold this situation.i ve heard that if one person doesn't cry out if he/she has strong pains or worrys which lead 2 crying,then he/she can be sick very easily,so why is it wrong men cry?why crying belongs 2 women?

I don't think so, when I see a man cried, I just think he could no longer hold his true feelings. We know as much as possible man tried to hide their feelings but there comes to the point where the pain or disappointment is too much for them to bear. They have to cry sometimes to feel better.
