Shower Curtain, Open or Closed?  

Hi! I prefer to keep my shower curtain closed. I don't like to leave it open because of water on the floor, and i really don't want to make a mess when i am showering. Plus it makes me feel creepy if the curtain were open. I don't like the idea of someone being able to watch me shower.

i also like a closed curtain shower because i am completely .......... thats why i like it mostly i dont want others to have a look on me during shower.

Well I do not keep my shower curtain open or closed as I do not have a curtain. Instead my shower is in a cubicle and as my showers are so hot the windows always steam up anyway.

I like mine to be closed that way I dont have to worry about water getting every wheres. That would take way to long to have to clean up after the shower.

I keep my shower curtain closed. It keeps water from getting on the floor. I have no desire to slip or clean up a mess. Of course every now and then I see my dog Sherlock's head peek inside. He's so cute. I look and this tiny little head with these big brown eyes are staring right at me. It's cute.

I perfer to shower / bath with the shower door closed. I too find leaving it open invades my privacy and I become chilled faster than with the door closed. Sometimes during the summer I will leave the door open to allow the humitity to escape.

i never use the shower curtain while taking a bath but i do when taking a shower. i always close the curtain when i take a shower, otherwise the bathroom would get flooded. i can't imagine anyone showering with the curtain open unless they enjoy using a mop...lol.

well i ususally keep mine closed for 2 main reasons. one if i keep it open i feel a draft it gets very cold. and when i shut it. it much warmer and i feel so comptable. and then the second reason is i'm not aloud to keep the bathroom door locked. because i live with 5 other people. and when i lock it someone always needs to come in! so if i lock it i have to interrupt my bath get out and get back in. and if i don't open it i get in trouble by my mom she will say i'm being inconsiderate. so i rather just keep the shower curtain closed just in case someone comes in.

i don't have a curtain, i have like a swing door.. i don't remember what they're called, but that can either be open or closed but i prefer to have it closed. like you said, it feels like you're alone and not being stared at, and it's much warmer to have it closed.

I like keeping my curtain closed. The water would go everywhere and just make a big mess otherwise. Then there's also the creep factor especially if someone else is in the house. Though I did keep the curtain open when I used to take baths as a kid, but I don't think that really counts.
