I think I have a psychological problem with TT

I have this thing about TT. Ya, toilet paper. How important can that be, right? Pretty darned important when you think about it. If we get low on toilet paper I absolutely freak out. I DO! My life is a living hell until we have more toilet paper in the house. I usually have one shelf in the hall closet about half FULL of the stuff at all times. Does anyone else have this affliction? Or will you be honest enough to admit it?

celticeagle I thought I was the only one with this syndrome and Iknow that in our storage we probably have at least twelve rolls of t P.
and it will stay there now till we get moved into an apartment if my son ever gets a job again. Meantime I am here at this retirement center and they really do keep us supplied my roomie and I with this c heapie brand of toilet tissue. Its the kind that crumbles and leaves little pieces of paper tuck to your nether regions. yuck.

I hate the kind that is like tissue paper and you have to use about nine yards. I don't care for the cheapie stuff either. Yuck is right! I like the thicker and softer type that does the job. Hope your son finds work.

Hey celtic! MEEEEEEE TOOOOOO! My boyfriend thinks I'm completely
out of my freakin mind! I get crazy when I see that the toilet
paper is running low and we have fights about it! He gets some
from his job and won't let me buy any! He works in a college
cafeteria and does the janitorial work so he has "access to the
toilet paper and brings it home sometimes! But, not enough to
keep us well stocked so I freak out when it starts to get low
and want to buy some! He thinks that is crazy! I have to buy
it and hide so he doesn't know! I have to have tons of it in
the house without him knowing about it! Am I insane, I don't
think so!

Let him be a butt if he wants to be. I would buy some extra and keep it in my trunk. If he wants to take a chance on no TT- let him! Doesn't mean you have to!

i always have to have it tp in the house or i go nuts i have a bunch right now but what drives me even more crazy is when i find that my children waste rolls of it grrr i get so mad.

I so agree! My granddaughter uses it to wrap things in and uses scads. It is unbelieveable how wasteful she is. One day I hope she has to govern her own TT and maybe she will figure it out.

You are like my aunt... haha.. she really can't live without toilet paper..Be it in the house, in her bag, in the car, just about everywhere she is...
as for me, i haven't had that kind of affliction to it.. But there are times when i wished i brought a toilet paper with me.. LOL

I do, I mean if you run out of toilet paper then what are you going to use? Its better to be safe than sorry and have plenty of toiletpaper, especially if you have frequent guests over or random guests... or if maybe a neighbor might need to borrow a roll... although I've never heard of any asking like they might once have for a cup of sugar or an egg... hmmn. Still I'd rather have more than enough than too little and someone gets diarriah...

Nope. The neighbor that used to borrow the TT has passed. She was the only barrower of TT. I have had to use napkins and towels and such before.Freaks me out pretty bad.

Well, I'm not obsessed with toilet paper 
. When I buy, I tend to buy a big pack of toilet paper, and if I see that there are only 2 or 3 rolls left I go to the nearby supermarket and buy a big pack again, but I don't feel anxious about it.
