Help!! any ideas what I can do for my skin?  

Water is a very good detoxifying agent. Eating balanced meals with lots of veggies and fruits will do. But if you can not do anything about it, make-up will do the trick!

If you aren't using a moisturizer twice a day i would start by doing that. I have dry skin as well, but not so many break outs but i do have redness to my skin. I try to do a moisturizer before bed and when i wake up and get out of the shower in the morning as it does help. I would stop using your proactiv and try the nuetrogena pack that just came out for dry and redness skin. They actually have three different ones that i would look into and you might be able to purchase that and that might just be able to help you out. I know how to feel that everything is used for oily skin, but if you look closely at a walmart or walgreens you might be able to find some good stuff. Also don't forget to always take your makeup off at night before going to bed.

I have dry skin, and for many years had acne along with that dry skin, and Angels on Bare Skin cleanser sorted me out in a matter of weeks.

Around March of this year, I started checking into getting chemical peels done. Way too expensive to go to the dr. to get them, and I found you could buy that stuff online. So, I found a reputable site, and bought myself some TCA peel, glycolic peel, and a salicylic peel. At the doctor's office, you'll pay anywhere from 100+ dollars up, more like 2-300 for one treatment. I bought my own for about 25.00 a bottle, which will last me at least 6 months to a year depending on which one.

TCA is good for minor wrinkles, freckles, small scars. When done, you're face looks very fresh and smooth. The down side to it, you need at least 3-5 days of staying inside because it actually peels off your top layer of skin and you go through periods of looking like a bad sun burn, to a snake peeling it's skin, to looking fresh faced.

Glycolic peels are great and can be used weekly for about 3-4 weeks with a 2 week break. No down time, just a minor redness to the skin. It doesn't go as deep as the TCA peel. No peeling, minor flaking. This one worked great for me with controling my acne, it cleans out the top layer where all the oil and dirt plug up the pores. It can take a few months to really see improvement.

I also occasionally use the salicylic peel, which also contains a lactic acid peel. I use this one when I actually have a zit. It's very drying, and I just use it as a spot treatment instead of all over my face. I also use this one on my teenage daughters. You can water it down as well, I think it's a 10% solution, most stuff you buy in the store is only 2%.

You would probably benefit from a Jessner's peel. It's supposedly really good for acne.

I"ve had great luck with all of those, I can see a major difference in my skin all around. I know some people get scared and say you should do this in a dr.'s office. But like I said, it's so expensive. And, it's completely safe, as long as you follow the directions to a T(which aren't difficult) and do your research thoroughly before starting and make sure you get the right product and the right dose. I've read a few stories of people that have had some problems, and just reading their stories, even I-not an expert, can see exactly what they did wrong. Started with higher doses then they should've-always start low and build up, and left the products on way too long. Common sense is the key :)

Drink lots of water. Also, execise to circulate more blood and create that glowing you. Another thing is to eat healthy. Eat more fruits (especially citurs ones), and vegetables as they have a lot of vitamins essential for the skin, nails and hair. I hope this helped.

Skin is the most sensitive part of the human body. It is infact the largest organ of the body.Inorder to maintain its texture and color need to follow certain things regulary. Being your skin is Dry, you can apply moisturizer through out the body after bath and apply sunscreen lotion before going out in sun. Moreover for the face wash it with the face wash or Cleanser,Tonner,Moisturizer .Avoid using any kind of Soaps to face. This may infact results in Pimples coz almost all the soaps are alkaline based.I hope this will surely keep you look good always.
