Cory Aquino just died

BTW what is cardio respiratory arrest in tagalog, is it dying from "bangugot"
I know she had colon cancer. But is that anyway connected to the cause of that death

I just read it in Yahoo Philippines that the former President of the Philippines passed away. All of us have time to say goodbye and it's her time now to be with the Creator. May she rest in peace.

yea it's all over the news. And it was the first thing my fiance mentioned when I woke up a couple of hours ago saying that cory has died. Alot of people had held masses for her praying everyday but I guess when it's your time, there's nothing you can do but accept it.At least now she's in a happier place and she no longer has to battle with her colon cancer.

yes she did, and it is sad that she did but then she already did what she is meant to do in this world. plus death is inevitable. She already made her legacy and left her mark in our country. Hopefully,someday someone will be born to be like her, full of love for our country.:(

Was quite surprised when we woke up this morning and opened out tv. I was surprised to see them saying thanks to Cory and just got surprised as the news flowed in. I am pretty sure we all are grateful somehow for her bringing back democracy to our country. Although she wasn't able to bring the country to where she wanted because of so many things that happened in her administration that prevented her to bring our country to what she dreams for us. But nevertheless, we could not put all our blame on her for the failures of her administration because there are some that don't want it realized back then.

im sorry to hear that.. i just know the news when i check my philippines interest... well, she died with pride and honor after accomplishing with so many things for the country.. tnx to her husband heroism act and we are now free from dictatorship. and of course tnx for the courage of cory aquino inspite of her husband's death she still manage to continue her husband legacy.. a truly wonderful leader and been like a mom to all filipino and a strong mother and wife to her family.. may she rest in peace.

I think Former President Cory Aquino has been an inspirational leader, someone we should look up to. She's someone who genuinely loves the country and it's people, and that's something rare to find among politicians and civilians alike.

yes, the former president died of cardiorespiratory arrest...means her heart and lungs stopped working...

Her legacy would always remain to be the EDSA Revolution and the coming of democracy to our country.

I have always looked up to her and her strength as a mom. I like Kris Aquino her daughter and applaud her for her candidness and I am proud of the way she was brought up by her mom and how she clings to her mom in times of trials meaning that she really is close and looks up to her mom.

I think her legacy would be that... the EDSA revolution and her children

Rest In Peace President Cory Aquino. You'll be remembered in every Filipinos' hearts.. Thanks for giving us the democracy that we badly need after the dictatorship of Marcos.. I hope you will be happy now coz you will finally reunite with your loving husband Ninoy Aquino.. God Bless!

Sorry, I haven't any idea what Pres. Cory Aquino's legacy is. I was not aware of the death of Cory Aquino. My condolences.
