Partial birth abortion, euthenasia, R U really ready for the New Healthcare? |

Here's what's in store if Obama's CHANGE is accomplished in healthcare.
Partial birth abortions; he said let babies born alive, die unattended.

His science czar, John Holdren wrote...two year olds are not people yet. Let then die too? How about compulsory abortions? Forced population control! Get rid of THOSE kinds of people.......? he writes. And this guy advises our leader?

1. spalladino (9027) | 5 months ago | How about you read the actual bill instead of depending on youtube videos? I haven't read the entire thing but I do know that there are many special interest groups using many scare tactics to creat opposition to this legislation.

hussyinterrupted (154) | 5 months ago | Wow Spalladino. Are you taking deflection tips from President Obama? "I don't know the whole story, but I know who is wrong". Sounds strangely familiar to what Obama had to say about the Professor Gates incident.

Rollo1 (1604) | 5 months ago | The video is Obama and his own words. I guess if they show it on youtube, it's not real even if he said it.
The point is that what Obama has stood for in the past, steadfastly, will most likely be what he stands for into the future. He has told us over and over what he believes in, and when we mention it now as something that concerns us, we are told he didn't really mean it.

debrakcarey (1351) | 5 months ago | I admit I haven't read it. But these are serious videos, one by a professional who has concerns, not some guy in his garage ranting and raving. The one on Euthanasia is excerpts from (Obama's science czar) John Holdren's book. It seemed logical to me that if this man was asked to advise the president, this is the advice he would give. And this would be the 'programs' we are put under.
What concerns me is the rush rush to get this thing passed, and very little main stream reporting on the nuts and bolts of it. Very little time, means very little actual discussion and thought going into it. I know from experience when someone rushes you with a decision, they often have ulterior motives. (someone tell me the # of the bill as I haven't even see that! published) Heck, I even read somewhere that Congress hadn't read the whole thing before they recessed for the summer break. Yet, fearless leader wants it passed before adequate time to debate and consider the ramifications of it all on American society.
Don't worry spalladino, when someone sends me the link to it, I WILL read it. And I guarantee you, I will be here remarking on it.

Destiny007 (4544) | 5 months ago | Here is an excerpt from some people that can read as well, and have the ability to understand what they read... which is something you evidently lack... especially since you admit you have not read the billl, so you obviously do not know what you are even talking about.
These people have actually read and analyzed what the bill contains....
"The Liberty Counsel analysis said under Section 1308, the government will dictate marriage and family therapy as well as mental health services, including the definitions of those treatments, and under Section 1401, a Center for Comparative Effectiveness Research would be set up, creating a bureaucracy through which federal employees could determine whether any treatment is "comparatively effective" for any individual based on the cost, likely success and probably the years left in life.
It also, according to Staver, "covers abortions, transsexual surgeries, encourages counseling as to how many children you should have, whether you should increase the interval between children."
"The plan would allow, in Section 1401, for the collection of information about individuals' health records, both "published and unpublished," and recommend policies for public access to data.
The Liberty Counsel analysis also pointed out the government would be allowed to ration health care procedures, prevent "judicial review" of its decision, tell doctors what income they can have, impose new taxes for anyone not having an "acceptable" coverage, regulate whether seniors can have wheelchairs, penalize hospitals or doctors whose patients require "readmission," prevent the expansion of hospitals and set up procedures for home visits by health care analysts.
Under Section 440, Liberty Counsel said, the government "will design and implement Home Visitation Program for families with young kids and families that expect children." And Section 194 provides for a program that has the government "coming into your house and teaching/telling you how to parent,"

debrakcarey (1351) | 5 months ago | Whoa....clicked on the link to the bill and got a warning that it was so large a file it could freeze up my browser! BUT...there was an option to go read it elsewhere. My thoughts are THIS WAS OBVIOUSLY BEING WORKED ON FOR A LONG TIME..AND NOT JUST SINCE OBAMA TOOK THE OATH OF OFFICE. It's huge! no wonder congress isn't reading it all....and I still say... it's dangerous to pass this monster without debate and arguements....not something this importanat.
NOw, I went to Destiny's link too...I didn't know the White House wanted us to start snitching on each other? It reports on the President asking people to forward 'fishy' emails you get concerning this bill and what it has in it...to the white house? Oh mY my my! Now if that don't sound real dangerous...and ominous...YOU ALL DO HAVE YOUR HEAD IN THE SAND!

2. Rollo1 (1604) | 5 months ago | I am pro-life and I know that I am not God. Therefore, I would never state with certainty that an embryo or fetus at any stage is not "alive". However, there is an increased sense of horror that rises up within me when I realize that women are aborting babies, babies that are born alive instead of dead because the doctor did a lousy job of killing them. Then, once born, Obama would be against that tiny baby receiving care. The tiniest and most helpless of all humans, left to die. Why? The mother wanted it dead. If it is alive, she could sue them. If they kill it, it's now murder. It's abortion if they kill it before it emerges from the womb, no matter what stage of gestation it is at. There is nothing in Roe v. Wade to prevent 9 month gestation abortions. The real problem with abortion can be seen in this scenario. It's alive... let it die...
Then we are told that John Holdren, co-authored this book with the Erhlichs (the most wacked-out couple ever to come along) but now believes none of what he proposed. Oh, they say, that was 30 years ago. Besides, he's not going to be in charge of establishing an international police force to implement a policy of compulsory abortion, he's just going to combat climate change. What's the biggest claim of those combatting climate change? That it's a global problem and there must be a world-wide agency to enforce regulations on all countries. He still wants an international police force. Nothing has changed.
The man (Holdren) is a dangerous, one-world government wacko who believes he is empowered to decide who should live and who should die, who should be allowed to reproduce and who should not.
The Erhlich's have been promulgating their population control theories since the sixties. According to one of Paul Erhlich's books, most of us shouldn't be here right now as the US was going to run out of food by 1970 and half the population die of starvation. In reality, food production has increased every year since 1941.
These are all people who have outlived their 1960s extremist and communist views. We have history on our side now, we know the end of true socialism (it always becomes a dictatorship) and communism (which requires a police state to enforce). I cannot believe that people are so naive as to believe that these ideologues have changed one iota or have come to realize that their ideas were misguided. They never will, they are the superior ones who know how to save the Earth and which people deserve saving as well.
Consider this from Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the top healthcare adviser at Obama's Budget Office and brother of his chief of staff:
"Substantively, it suggests services that promote the continuation of the polity - those that ensure healthy future generations, ensure development of practical reasoning skills, and ensure full and active participation by citizens in public deliberation - are to be socially guaranteed as basic. Conversely, services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic and should not be guaranteed. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia."
Okay, now you know what Obama means by providing universal "basic" health care. The mentally ill, Alzheimer's patients, those with senile dementia - they are not participating citizens - no health care.
For those who will respond to tell me that I am using scare tactics, my only response is that these are not my words. They are the words of this administration and those Obama has chosen to set policy. Please, if you won't listen to me or to others, listen carefully to them.
"...

3. Destiny007 (4544) | 5 months ago | I read a while back about Holdren's desire to eliminate 90% of the worlds population, because he viewed the current level as unsustainable... and that was said a few years ago.
These are not nice people.
Now I see where the National Guard is recruiting for internment camp guards.... it sounds like they want to round up some people.
The whole healthcare debate is all about government gaining more control, which is what this administration is all about.

debrakcarey (1351) | 5 months ago | Yep, monster.com is running an ad for the Army National Guard for resettlement/internment guards.
The president is asking the American people to snitch on each other...it's illegal to have bad thoughts about certian types of folks....what next guys...where's the two minute hate...? Is that NEXT?
Go read George Orwell's '1984' if you haven't a clue as to what I mean. Then come back and tell me it's all a bad dream.

Destiny007 (4544) | 5 months ago | I read that one in high school... as well as Brave New World, Mein Kampf(sp?), and the Communist Manifesto.... as well as several others.

debrakcarey (1351) | 5 months ago | RESETTLEMENT/INTERNMENT GUARDS...did you read that...INTERNMENT! That is what the ad says..and ad looking for Army National Guard recruits.
| |
|
|
Destiny007 (4544) | 5 months ago | Yep... I saw that.
Internment camp s a phrase that tends to grab my undivided attention... especially since Homeland Security has decided that people who disagree with the government are to be considered low level domestic terrorists.
That would include most everyone on my friends list here as well as myself.
As a veteran and a patriot I take great exception to a label like that.
The last internment camp that I am aware of was during WW2 when a bunch of Americans were locked up simply because they were of Japanese origin.

4. dawnald (9787) | 5 months ago | I think we're dealing with 2 (well really 3) separate issues here. I do believe that we need health care coverage for every citizen in this country and that we, as citizens, have a duty to speak up for what we consider to be acceptable and unacceptable under that coverage.
Getting laws passed against partial birth abortion is a separate issue that needs to be addressed separately.
As for population control, it needs to be voluntary. Studies have shown that in places where women's rights have improved, women have fewer children. Forced population control is absolutely unacceptable.
| |
| |
|
|
debrakcarey (1351) | 5 months ago | I see what you're saying...but really the issues presented here are very closely related. They cover complete control from cradle to grave...even pre-cradle if you think about population control. These are not things I found in the healthcare bill...but in the writings of the science czar John Holdren...a person who advocates forced abortions, forced sterilazation, and even the killing of two year olds as acceptable.
We need to quit thinking that this kind of crap just can't happen in America. Cause it IS happening....
White House asked regular citizens to forward any fishy emails you may receive on this healthcare bill and what it contains...to the president! He has us reporting ON EACH OTHER! Now what?
| |
|
|
debrakcarey (1351) | 5 months ago | I'm going to use this space right here! to defend my use of YouTube videos. I work evenings when most of the speeches and debates are on. The link I provided is one of the president himself....since when does it help to make snide remarks and insult one another about reading ability?
I try real hard to be respectful...and that is a difficult task for me. Ask Dawn, she knows me pretty well...BUT I SHOW RESPECT no matter how much I want to be snippy and insulting ...I think I have a right to expect it in return.

A baby is a gift from God, we do not have the right too take away his/her life.It is not righteous to practice mercy killing. Can you dare to stare a baby slowly dying?
