What will you do when you are old????  

I will be staying at this place. I've had my eye on it for years. It's called The Shelby Nursing Center. I love it and I wish it wasn't for old people only, because I'd be living there right now

Once im old enough to have earned enough to support the rest of my life - i guess i ll continue playing video games, on whatever systems they will have invented by then.
Gaming has been my passion for as long as I can remember - and hopefully will be my passion, once im all grown up and stuff.

i really dont know what will i do when i get old.. i guess i need to work hard for now, earn and have saving.. lucky for you coz u still have your grandfather unlike me. i never got a chance to be with any of my grandparents coz they are died already while im still a little child.. we cant blame then if they afraid to sleep coz and die specially if they still enjoy the life and see their kids and grandkids..

Well when I got old and feels like my time is near,I will spend me evry day with the people that I love.Maybe ask them if we could have a little family get together so I could remember all of their faces because I'm afraid that one day would come that when I am old I'd be able to forget and not know how they look like..old people mostly have memory lost..I'd make sure that I'll be able to thank them for being part of my family and for loving and taking care of me.That for me is one sure thing I would do when I get old.

i want to live in the mountains with gardens all over my house..i want to sit in my rocking chair while watching my husband playing with his grandson.were i can feel comfortable and at peace with my better half.i want to wake up in the morning were the air is fresh and the surroundings are very beautiful.watching the sunset rise while holding my husbands hands,knowing that im very lucky to have my partner that we grow old together.till our last breath we stay as one..and when the time were both of us are gone..our siblings will follow and do the same that love must stay forever even when were old......

I can never really imagine myself at 80 years old. I'd probably be dead by then. LOL. But if i do live to see that day, I'd probably be in this beautiful lake house I have always imagined to retire to when I'm older. I'd imagine I'd be with my husband and we'd both grow old together, feeding the ducks or something. LOL

Oh, I'd probably have a beautiful garden I'd be tending. Hmm...I don't know what else but I do hope I'd be aging gracefully, happy and content and with no regrets about the life I lead. I want to sit in wicker chair, facing the sunset, with a smile on my face, knowing that I was able to live a full, meaningful life. ;)

I would like to age gracefully. So when i am old i should see to it that i am not a burden to anyone. Will try to stay healthy with good eating habits beacuse we become a pest on our children and grandchildren when we have have serious ailments. Go for walks holding the hand of my grandchildren. I would be like to be loved by my grandchildren.

I think I will need to be more spiritual and prayerful person and hear God word. If I have all the energy and I could still walk, I like to go to church to pray and be more active in joining church groups. Then, I will read all inspirational books about spiritual journey. This will surely gives you a calming mind and never be afraid of the future which lies ahead. It is a fact of life everyone will get old. Two things that are sure that will happen to man..being born and die..This is our destiny which we could not avoid...

You are a lucky person to have such a lovely grandfather. Your discussion reminded me about my grandfather. He passed away in 1991 at the age of 100 plus. He used to love us ( 5 grandchildren) a lot. As your grandfather feared to sleep, our grandfather had a problem. If some of our neighbours died because of some illness, he will become upset that he is also going to die with the same disease or cause. So we never used to tell him about the death of others. What we noticed in the later stage that, his character and behaviours become like kids. My grand father was also healthy and used to do gardening and take care of other plants and domestic animals. I have no clue about what I am going to do when I am that old and whether I will be there to become that old. A good subject.
