Running Blisters - Where Do You Get Them?

Thanks! Yeah, I am definitely picking up more of those socks this weekend.

I think I'll have to wear my other shoes if I still go running Saturday morning. Since I don't want to destroy my blisters. I think the other shoes will be different enough to not rub in the same spots.

I can't run sockless if I've got shoes on, since my feet sweat. I ran 3.5 miles tonight with the Injinji socks and only barely could feel my blisters at the end. I think I blister because my feet sweat. I only blister in sweaty places.

I can't wear socks with the VFFs though, they are way too tight fitting for socks. Once you get some, you'll see what I mean. You can't squeeze a sock into there. If you get a size or two larger, maybe. But with the Injinji socks, if your toes don't go all the way to the end you are left with an extra piece of sock there which isn't too bad in regular shoes, but in the VFFs it makes them not fit.

I bought my Surges a bit bigger, but since the material isn't as stretchy, they fit about just as tight as my KSOs.

It amazes me how different peoples bodies respond to the same stimuli. I feel bad for you having to deal with the blisters. I used to get blisters from roller skating and I'm sure it was a fit issue then with me. But it really puts a damper on a sport you love.
