Have you ever lost your password? |
|
I joined a site for making extra money. The day after I joined it wouldn't recognize my password. I have tried the contact page but the site manager doesn't reply to me. I get a code of 46 letters sent to me and to get a new password I need 48 letters. I feel annoyed about it.

wahyueQ (184) | 5 months ago | Sure, I ever lost my e-mail password, but it is a long time ago. So now I make the new e-mail to replace my old e-mail. But now I hope I won't lost my password anymore, because it is very very very important. Imagine if you lost your paypal account and you also forget your secret question??? You can lost a lot of money in your paypal.
Now I save my password on my lap top, so I hope I never lost it anymore again amen.

glesil_00 (886) | 5 months ago | I have the same username now in all earning online and almost the same password for each so that i can easily remember. I used two computer in signign in all my online earning and i'm sure that i am the only person in that computer who use it for online earling as ptc required 1 ip address 1 account only. Firefox saves me in remembering my password and i used ie sometimes and i do make it for ie to remember my password too.

| 3. louren007 (85) | 5 months ago | Passwords are really important. Of course, I have experienced losing my password but I have already learned a lesson from it. Right now, I should be careful and keep in mind. In fact, I do have a text file to list my necessary accounts.
How about doing the same thing???

6. mipen2006 (2454) | 5 months ago | I started a discussion a while ago about passwords, and came to the conclusion that the only really safe way is to record them in a diary, which I have started to do. Your situation here, would frustrate as well as annoy me. Good luck, max.

7. playapal (804) | 5 months ago | My laptop crashed a couple of months ago and I lost all of my passwords! Generally I use the same ones over and over but my kids have been telling me that it isn't safe to do that. I had one heck of a time trying to remember them. Some I had written down, but others I hadn't, now I am trying to keep a pen and paper beside me when I am working online, then if I join a new site, I write it down. I did have a similar experience to yours, one site I joined assigned me my password. It didn't have 46 letters but it had a bunch! I couldn't figure out how to change it for months, everytime I went to that site, I would have to go to my email first and copy and paste it! How annoying!

10. ellie333 (6799) | 5 months ago | Hi Maxine, I have in the past lost passwords or had passwords not recognised so now whenever I join a site especially a survey one for making money I have a section in my address book where I write them all down, by doing this it also reminds me of what sites to visit if they do not email notification, however I do not write any passwords down for secure sites like my bank accounts or paypal etc they are all in my head. Huggles. Ellie:D
