What was the snazziest, fanciest hotel you ever stayed at?

The most expensive hotel I've stayed at was actually a bed and breakfast. It was $200 per night, but it was FUN! We only stayed one night. In the evening the place had a happy hour where all the guests gathered for a snack which was big enough to be a meal, and a free bar. The breakfast was free in the morning, too. I think it was well worth the price. I can't wait to go to another bed and breakfast.

I traveled a lot for the Company I used to work for, we usually had to stay at the medium rate motels, I had a credit card and registered for points at all the chains! I was driving thru Denver on my way to Salt Lake City this was in Early November, I didn't know the area and wanted to get thru Denver to avoid early traffic so I got to one of the resort ski towns and went in to a Marriott, used the card it was about $85.00 still off season rates! I gave them my points card and soon was heading up to the room! WOW! it was a master suite over looking the ski mountain! They were making snow and there were some snow boarders out! the room was made for a king! I called the desk and made sure there was no mistake, and was told it was the last weekend before the rates went up and since I was a card member they wanted to treat me right! I was blown away! There was a hot tub in the room and one on the balcony, a coffee grinder for the fresh coffee in the morning, giant HDTV in the bedroom and one in the main room, a computer with a giant monitor. The whole works, glass, glasses, not plastic, I could go on and on. As I traveled for a living I was not aware that they even had rooms that nice! tdemex

I was traveling around Turkey with my ex-boyfriend. He didn't like the accommodation available in the towns and villages that we went to. He liked the sleeping car we were in on a train. When we got back to Istanbul he wanted some luxury. He booked a couple of nights in a really pricey hotel. It cost in the region 100 dollars a night. It had a traditional type bathroom. Wow!

Also when I was dating him we went to the Seychelles and he again liked high quality accommodation. I had booked us budget type places but he hated them. I got in to go in one of the guest houses. He paced around the island all night unable to go to bed from the fear of all the insects. I had an insect net and slept soundly. He got us to check into a pricey lodge style hotel. It cost about 100 euros a night.

For both those accommodations we booked in person once we had arrived in the destinations.

Because I worked for the school district I have stayed in some of the best including hotels in Aspen Colorado. I tried to save the school money by staying in cheap hotels but the administration made fun of me so I joined them.

I stayed at a very fancy hotel in New York whose name I don't recall. I was speaking at the Ford Foundation. I remember it didn't look like any hotel I'd ever seen. It looked like a little house. Next weekend, I'm staying at the Boston Plaza Hotel for another conference. This time, courtesy of the National Foundation for the Arts which is giving me a grant for half the project and my mother has put up the money for the other half. I'm expecting that to be really fancy.

The most expensive hotel I stayed in the State Ministry of Finance House.Is to give our region to go for grain storage.That hotel in our capital.Because it is public funds can be reimbursed.And we went to several individuals.So I did not then asked the price.But I know it is surely very expensive.Because they are stars.Also entertain a lot of foreign guests.

For me, the most expensive (and probably fanciest) hotel that I have stayed at was Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. It was very nice. I think my share was $200 per night but I'm not entirely sure. My friends picked it.

Usually I stay places that I've heard of because a friend has stayed there.

I wasn't able to stay at it, but it was for an excursion and it was at the Marriott Hotel on the Gold Coast. It was sooo fancy that the stair case was as wide as anything and had special red carpet that went to the top. The most expensive room had a special toilet for cleaning your bum.:S. It was like $1000 a night just to stay at it.

Staying in Bali Hard Rock Cafe Hotel deluxe room during the new years eves'cost 300 USD per night which includes the Gala dinner on new year's eve. It's a memorable experience to be in Hard Rock. I stayed for 3 days.

Cant remember the exact name but I visited there with my ex for our honey moon. Our room over looked the ocean and there was a staff who brought us things to eat and drink.
