Frustrations galore when trying to publish my articles on my blog! | | I'm so frustrated this week. I earn about 10$ a day to write a reality blog. It doesn't seem like much, but I watch the shows anyway so recapping them seemed like it would be easy. While, the publishing tool for that site has always been kind of tricky to work with. However, this last week or so it has been just unbearable. I'd write my whole article after the show ended, go to publish, and it's stuck in limbo for EVER! I either leave it running til it gives me an error or I give up and try again later.
It's really frustrating because I usually get the majority of my hits right after the show ends. But if I can't even publish, I don't know what the heck to do! I'm starting to think, is it really worth it? I enjoy the extra 200 or so dollars a month, but is it worth it to spend all night trying to get an article up? Or could I just cut back on spending and save 200$ a month elsewhere in my life?
How about you? How much will you go through for extra spending money on sites like these? Do you or have you ever just given up and decided you could spend your time better on your other hobbies that don't earn you as much or anything? I'd much rather be working on my memory book tonight but I got so frustrated with this thing that I keep going back to try publishing it again. The only good thing is the site saves drafts every 30 seconds so I have a draft of it and just gotta publish it. The bad news is I've tried like 6 times tonight and got caught up in an endless lingering state each time! What would you do? Quit and give up on that site? Or keep trying in hopes the hits make up for it?

I know that at one site, I was using Firefox (my usual browser) and kept having troubles like that where I'd type in a post and it would hang forever. I would have to copy off my post, hit the "back" button and try again. It nearly always went through fast on the second try. Anyway, I started used IE for that site and it doesn't do it any more. It might be worth a try for you.

vivasuzi (1861) | 5 months ago | Yeah actually when I reported the problem it turned out to be a major problem they were having across the entire site, so it wasn't just me. I had tried 3 different browsers and nothing worked. Luckily the next morning they provided a temporary solution that helped me publish my articles, but I was still annoyed I missed out on hits that night.
Anyway, today my OTHER writing site is having issues and won't publish. They say they have an overnight fix to run that will repair the problem, but I wanted to write tonight:( Oh well
