After the forest fire in Greece, another is heard of in California. I still remember the one in Australia earlier. And currently, in north China, water is desperately needed, as well. What can we do to stop the natural disasters?

Hi zhuhuifen, well it hasn't been established yet as to the cause of the fires last week around the Athens area but the ones of two years ago which killed 65 people and cost thousands their homes was not a natural disaster but the work of arsonists. Many many theories abounded as to who these arsonists were but the general concensus seemed to be that it was the work of people to destroy areas where building permits weren't allowed so that the land could then be utilised later as building land. The Greek countryside is ripe for arson attacks in the summer with the combination of intense heat and winds which fan the fires incredibly quickly. The solution seems to be to be better prepared to cope with them and for the local men to keep overnight fire watches from high ground so any fires can be dealt with promptly.
