DO You Suffer From Monday Blues? How Do You Beat This Feeling?

Monday Blues - Monday, a day to mourn

This is a very common feeling amongst people, especially those who work in offices and students. Everybody waits with great enthusiasm for the arrival of the weekends. It is fun and frolic time for all. But come Monday and all the enthusiasm disappears. Its hard to get out of bed and demoralising to think of the next 5 days of the week. We all know that most achivements and awards were won on weekdays. Yet we do not welcome Monday with any enthusiasm. Why is MOnday treated so shabbily by one and all?

I do struggle with the beginning of a new week but for me it is a different reason at the moment. I was laid off from my job in February and have been getting discouraged recently with my job hunting - so sometimes Monday morning feels like, another week of applying and getting no results. On the other hand, I may get up thinking, well, this could be the week things turn around! I think I will try and go for that one tomorrow!

Mondays are tough because they're the first day of the weekday- either the work week or the school week. And for some of us, both (unfortunately)! To add injury - I'm currently in a semi-long distance relationship where we he has to go "home" (about 1.5 hours away) for the work-week. Makes it harder! How do I deal - mainly, focus on my work, and get busy. If I'm not busy and my mind is idle, I'll get bored and get tired easily.

I think it is because some people (including myself) do not like their jobs and enjoy their time off. You do what you have to do to pay the bills, but some jobs out there are not satisfying for many.

Unlike many people, I like Monday and never experience the blues. I guess it may have something to do with the fact that I meditate each and every day, and this calms my mind and helps me to focus throughout the day and feel fulfilled at what I achieve. I live with the philosophy that each moment and each day is a part of my life and I don't want to feel negative about it no matter what tasks I have to do. - Derek

Well, I drink warm coffee and this keep me awake from drowsiness. Then, I take cold shower this would be enough to awake all my body system, and I am ready go to work. even, I feel lazy you could not really make an absence from schools or work as you would also be the one to suffer from being tardiness or absences. it affects good personality and a mark of being unprofessional.

I'm a college student so Monday is the start of more confusing lectures and work.I pretty much live for the weekend. The only way I make it through my weekday is to think about how I'll be able to relax on the weekend. Then Monday comes and ends all my rest and relaxation. When I get up on Monday the weekend seems so far away so my Monday just seems dreadful.

Yes this is continuing from school days in every ones life. Play time and fun time is more enjoyable than study time and work time.
