Ladies, please do shave or tweeze your underarms..  

Other nationalities thinks its sexy having a hairy underarm? Well that's weird to be sexy.. I think she's also a Filipino like me. I felt sorry for seeing her underarm but it was unintentional.

I AM from Europe and I can tell you that only some of the younger generation shave their under arms.Most women in Germany do NOT shave their arms or Legs, and German Men do think it's sexy.
Hmmm...I have "Americanized" even BEFORE I came to the States and can't imagine NOT shaving.
When my Niece visited me from Germany, she did not care what people thought about her unshaven under arms lol, she said it's crazy to shave, why would you do that? I told her all the reasons Women shave which did not change her mind one bit. LOL

I believe this woman you seen was probably from another country, people should take this possibility into consideration and not laugh at her.
I Think we would feel hurt if we would be laughed at in a country where women don't shave and we show up hairless under our Arms and legs.

I do shave, why would you tweeze your under arms?? That would hurt like no other!!!

I shave...well actually they have this cool little tool at WalMart that has like 3 different attachments, and I use that for my underarms...it's a lot quicker, and you can do it in or out of the shower!! Plus you don't cut yourself...

I do recommend using it in the shower with soap though, because you can get razor burn..I thought this was magical or something so I tried it with nothing, and all I can say is ouch!!

But I would recommend shaving, not tweezing...tweezing won't make the hair stop growing...

That's umm.. it's a bit weird. I just don't get what part of it is sexy. It's an arm, and under it you have a whole lot of body hair, that probably has all the odour from all the sweat you have used.

I'm going through the change, and must admit I'm grateful the Nair tube or razor comes out a bit less often - not least because it's not so easy getting there these days! It seems to have migrated to my upper lip, though. Hmm ...

I go to the gym - less often than I used to, but I still go - and I wear a vest top. If I know I've got the teensiest bit of stubble under my arms it's a no-no for the lat pull-down. I get so self conscious.

efore the change I always kept my underarms shaved because of the gym. ea I can imagine the lat pull down and the pull up would be a bad move if there was a forest under the arm. Germany has some BIG female bodybuilders. Are stefroids legal in Germany? Good for you for working out jerz

Hi ron! Doesn't shaving make underarms darker? I heard from girls but I don't know if it's true. That's why I don't shave my armpit, I'm afraid it might get darker in color.

My mom also says that when we shave our armpits, other hairs that's not really underarm hairs gets shaved too so it's better to just tweeze them. But tweezing is tiring.

i guess so but i also use milk salts for my armpit. so far my childrens armpit are not darkening yet. i can not really use tweezers for it makes me feel dizzy. so i rather shave it, there is no other way for me to get rid of the hair than to shave. so i dont have much choice if it darkens my armpit.

i use this product its around 150 php per pack. you can use it on you armpits and i use it also on elbows and knees. i also use it on my face but not often, maybe once a month. It removes dirt deposits and dead skin cells from your body

Yes! It does hurt when you pluck them. Sometimes when I do it the pores bleeds and I hate it when it does cause the spot turns dark in color as it heals but they get paler after sometime.

So your hubby likes forest armpits hehe and you dulled his electric razor.. But that was dangerous shaving underarm hairs with electric razors. I've never done that.

Why don't you try putting ice on them. Ice can help heal the swelling. So you'll look great for this weekend!

I think you should try a razor ,I would never pluck my underarms( Oh No)would hurt to bad. Do yourself a favor and check out Shick Daisy razors, for women ,they work great underarms and legs . I never have a bump or irritation of any kind when I shave,unless the blade gets old. But they have refills, so its always sharp. Nice chatting with you again.

Oh you've done waxing. I wanna try it too but it's out of the budget. I heard there are also lasers available and if you had that procedure the hair will not grow anymore. I don't know if I heard it right but that's what I know about lasers.

The easiest and most unexpensive way is to shave or tweeze. I do the tweezing though it hurts a little.

Yes I have heard of the laser treatment but it's even more expensive than waxing. I'll stick with the old-fashioned razor method as that suits my pocket as well as my armpits too

Oh slightly off-topic but over here there are salons and there are almost more males who go for the waxing than the females. They wax not just armpits but all over - what an expense!

Tweezing is by plucking the hair from the skin. You know, like pulling it off. It does hurt sometimes but if you're use to it, its just fine tweezing.

Yes bonbon, it takes a long time to pluck all those hair out and it's tiring. That's why sometimes I don't get to finish both underarms. So it's only one arm that I can raise hehe.

Oh I see.. So women in your country do not shave their underarm hairs and its ok. Well in my country we are thought to shave them. Most women I think around the world do shave their underarms hairs.

Yeah that's what I'm more embarrassed. I don't mind much if girls would see I have underarm hairs cause it's normal for us girls but for boys seeing it? Oh no, no!! They would tease me just like what they did to the lady I saw at the burger chain.. I can hear them laughing and talking about it.

Hehehe it seems I'm the only one here who can bear the pain of tweezing. You'll get used to it if you do it more often. It sure would hurt especially if its your first time to pluck. It doesn't grow back too fast cause when you pluck the roots are included.

Shaving the hair they say makes the hair thicker. Don't know if its true.
