What I do know is, ostrich seriously dont have big brains! I once heard that when they put their head in the hole, they assume that the whole world wont see them. But of course, that is not true. The reason they put their heads in the hole is to avoid the sand storm. Am I right?

No, it is a myth about ostriches putting their heads in the sand, they do not do it. which is a shame as I wrote a great poem about it once at school, lol!

That's news to me that chameleon can move its eyes in different directions. What I know is lobsters belong to the royal families because the blood of lobsters is blue in colour. adinata, Your are right. This fluid helps to clot our blood, if not we will bleed to death. It is the same principle as in leeches. Leeches suck our blood and later release a fluid to clot our blood to prevent from further bleeding.There are groups using leeches for certain healing.

Wow! I don't know that the female honey bees kill the males after mating. But what I know is this female insect doesn't give birth. It lays millions of eggs. Correct me if I am wrong. Another scary fact is the big black hairy female spider kills the smaller male spider and eat it. Hence, black widow. Thanks for your informative contribution.

Are you sure about the vinegar? i always heard you should pee on jellyfish stings as the ammonia helps stop the pain. I would have thought the acid in vinegar would make it worse. Vinegar is supposed to help bee stings though i think.

Are you sure it is the first aid with a jellyfish sting? Because as what I am remembered during my Nursing days, the first aid that will be using vinegar or urine is the sting of a sea urchin because the sting of sea urchins are basic in nature, so in order to get that is to pour an acidic substance (e.g. vinegar) or urine because of the ammonium content.

I read in the internet a week ago that a local professor's research paper that vinegar may soothe the string of jellyfish. Yes, vinegar is acidic, but I don't know why.Urine is alkaline because of the presence of ammonia. Thanks for your discussion.
