I know you all like going to the Circus or watch Shows on Tv were wild animals preform. I don't really like watching animals that are born in the wild trying to do circus acts. Bears should be Bears, Tigers Should be Tigers. People trying to train Dolphins to do tricks. WHY. If you can make a Snail jump through a hoop TALK TO ME That's my rant for today

Men trained animals like bulls and horses to pull the early day vehicles. And he tried his level best with elephants to do some heavy works too.How can a huge animal like that can obey orders from comparatively small human being. It is the intelligence of the humans that is capable of training wild animals. About the circus,I think it is a good opportunity for people who can't be in person in the wild environment to see those animals in the natural habitats. Now we have all the satellite channels, but circus brought the wild animals to common people earlier.Cheers!

While the circus brings performing animals, the zoo provides a more natural habitat in captivity. Nature is rural, wild and dangerous, beautiful to observe, nourishing for the spirit and body. Did the bear lie about eating the salmon?

I enjoy the zoo myself except for some of the enclosures are way to small for the bigger animals.

Then I like to call a circus as a zoo on wheels which facilitates the public to see wild animals in their home town.As I have said earlier, not all people have the chance to see wild animals in the natural habitats and not all people can travel to see zoos in cities or amusement areas.Cheers!

I agree with your comments, but I have to take issue with your opening sentence. It annoyed me enough to make a point of it. "WE" all like watching animals trained to do unnatural things but YOU don't? Not only are you therefore different to all the rest of us, but clearly better than the rest of us. You probably didn't mean it that way, but your wording got up my nose. Lash

Yes, I know what you mean. I think it's a shame to take animals from the wild and make them "perform," but were the animals at the circus and the like ever really wild? I was under the impression that they were born in captivity, which is bad enough but at least they haven't had their freedom taken away.

Still, I think all animals from the wild should stay in the wild. It's sad to watch them trying to train elephants and other animals from the wild.

i also think along similar lines like you ,i think it is best for them to be in their natural environment where they are comfortable but some people just like to dominate and control.they think it is their plus points but i strongly feel that they are showing of their weaknesses.
