Do you smell bad?

My mother has severe asthma. She volunteers at the hopsital once a week. She used to work in the outpatient testing center, pushing people to their appointments in wheelchairs. But she would get so many women in that had bathed themselves in cologne that she would be wheezing in less than an hour on the job.
They transferred her to the ICU information desk. She doesn't have such direct contact with people, and most that are going in to visit at an ICU unit have the sense not to wear so much cologne.

I am laughing so hard right now. Not at you, but because of the timing. As I pulled up this discussion to comment on everything, my daughter is watching Hanna Montana. Miley was going to take her drivers test, and the DMV guy stepped in doggy doo before he got in the car. He was wiping it all over the mats in her car, and it stunk so bad that she was about to gag while she was trying to drive. She finally got fed up with his smell and pulled over and asked him to get out. Naturally, she failed her drivers test because of it!

That's funny! The stench would put you off all right!

That is a fact for sure! I remember being a young adult, when my children were little bitty, and my mmother in law had to delicately tell me that the deodarant I was wearing wasn't doing the job. That was when I discovered that I could not wear Ban.

I remember being in Junior High school and my geography teacher asking me to come in and see her during lunch. She had asked another classmate as well. When we got there, she told the little girl that she sometimes smelled bad and wanted to know if she could afford deodarant. She had called me in because I was her friend, and she thought it would be easier if she had some support when she told her. I remember the little girl crying in humiliation. She was really poor and couldn't afford anything but soap.

Definately true. There's a guy that works at a business here in town that we use. One of the men who works there smokes. Sometimes, his clothes smell so badly that it nearly gags me to stand close to him. We had to go to his office to sign some papers and the whole room smelled like stale cigarettes. I came out with my clothes smelling like smoke.
