How are my running buddies doing?
I've been MIA lately, sorry. I just got derailed and keep forgetting about mylot.
Last week I ran 9 miles barefoot and a total of 11.8 miles. This week I get four running days in so will do well.
Yesterday I ran 2.8 miles barefoot. It was a short run but I was trying to reach 3 miles and I was guessing at my distance. I shortchanged my guestimate.
Tomorrow my plan is 4 miles but I have insomnia tonight so not sure if I'll be able to get myself up early enough or have the energy if I do.
I'm excited to get up to at least 15 miles per week.
I'm going to miss my 10K race at the end of this month because I opted to go visit my daughter instead. I instead signed up for a half marathon in December.

I've only been doing about 7 miles a week lately. Ankles still not completely healed, ugh! I am so impatient too.

I've added more cross training so that I wouldn't go crazy wanting to run. Besides, I have a bike race in October I need to be in shape for!

Plus, I'm enjoying my swimming time before the weather cools down. I've also tried pool running a bit but it really is not much fun and doesn't even feel like I'm getting a workout. Still, I did 30 minutes of it last week.
