Putting Up Christmas Decors |
|
Hey guys! Just wonderin', how early do you put up your Chrismas decors and how late do you put it away? In my case, as soon as the "BER" months start! Yes, I already have my little Christmas tree installed, with the colorful musical lights in it:) Then, I put it away by the end of January. How 'bout you? Do you wait until December to decorate your house with the Christmas decors? Happy Lotting!

veronizm (197) | 3 months ago | Hi nanay angel!:) I remember my childhood days when we used put up socks on our windows during Christmas. Our parents would then fill them up with goodies and sweets (and I even remember once, big toys) while we were asleep. In the morning, we would squeal with happiness as we see our socks filled with all those candies and toys that we asked from Santa through a letter, lol. Back then, I really thought that it was Santa who filled up those socks:)
Anyway, we don't decorate for Halloween so as early as September I already put up my Chrismas lights and decors:) I'm that excited for Christmas!:)
Having a motif for the decors is really great! We seldom do that since we only put up the same decorations every year, lol, which gaves me an idea, maybe I should set up some motif on my decors too!

veronizm (197) | 3 months ago | Hahahaha! That also happens to me sometimes! Especially when I really like the way the decorations are put up. Also, sometimes because of the very busy schedule, we tend to forget to put it away until the next Christmas comes, lol.

4. book1962 (14483) | 3 months ago | hi veronizm, I am no fan of that Christmas decoration at all but my husband is. He has boxes and boxes full of that stuff and two years ago we bought a small artificial Christmas Tree cause he wanted one. Normally my husband will decorate just before Christmas Eve, sometimes even on Christmas Eve. And we put all that Christmas stuff away again January 6.

5. doryvien (894) | 3 months ago | Hi Veronizm,
I normally start decorating the home with Christmas theme after the Halloween, or in our country, the All Saints Day/All Souls Day, which is after November 2. The Christmas tree again claims the centerstage, along with the Christmas lights and other trimmings. I put them away after the Three Kings, the first Sunday of January.

| 7. addicted2cola (79) | 3 months ago | Hi Veronism. You must really like Christmas! The earliest the decorations go up at my house is December 1. I find that if I put them up too early, I'm completely sick of them by the time Christmas comes around. Last year, we put them up even later than that, around the middle of the month. Then, we take them down just after New Years. I've seen some people that still have them up at the end of February, lol. I think they're just too lazy to take them down!

veronizm (197) | 3 months ago | Hi addicted2cola! Yup, I do like Christmas! lol! And I also sometimes forget to put them away until the end of February, sometimes because of laziness, lol, and mostly because I still like looking at them, especially the lights:)

9. randylovesdar (483) | 1 week ago | My tree will go up the day after Thanksgiving. I will put my decorations the day after as well. I have always put things up in November. My husband and I put our seven feet tree up and our ornaments. Our stockings go up on Christmas Eve right before we go to bed. I am sure we will have a cat or two under the tree. For some reason the cats love sitting under the tree.
