 Guys, I've been reading and watching videos about end of the world this coming December 2011. It seems that there is scientific explanations regarding this matter and the world is now preparing for that. Selection of survivors is started. This means that only few will survive on the coming end of the world. Only those who are intelligent and can contribute to develop a new world is being selected. So what will happen to the rest? What do you think about it? Do you think its real?

But if ever it will be true, and i belong to the unlucky person to live more years in this world, and i will be gladly to accept the fact and be happy that it will be the end of my sacrifices in this world. I know that it is not all the bad things are happening to me but i believe the fact that god will give me the everlasting life in his kingdom.

People have been predicting the end of the world for millenia, and the world keeps on going. While I do believe that the world will end someday, I do not think we can predict it like this.

If it was I think it is, it is just a very clever advertising campaign for a movie entitled "2012". They even have a mock website set up for it that plays a company running a surviver lottery. It's a pertty clever ad campaing.
As for all the rest of the 2012 nonsense.....well...it is just that....nonsense. there is no planet x, ther is no earth crust shift comming, the mayans didn't predict the world would end in 2012 (their calender just rolls over on that date like ours does every year). There is absolutely ZERO science behind any of this. It is hype...period. | |

The reason isn't the malayan calendar others are talking about. The end will be cause by a huge heavenly body that is scientifically estimate to crushed the earth on the year 2012 (sorry not 2011). The only reason they are saying that is because that is when the Chinese and Mayan calendars end and restart again. The sun will also be facing the Milky Way in some way also, I am not sure about that. But I don't believe it will happen at all. Yes there will probably be some major climate changes in the future but the world won't end.

We should always look on the bright side of life and enjoy life to the fullest instead of thinking of dying and feel so damn terrified about it. Just live life as it is and whatever will be, will be. Last time, they say that the year 2000 is the end of the world, and there are people who actually hid themselves in caves. And then, there was this other story that the earth should experience a 24 hr darkness, they even explained it in a scientific way, then what happened? No end of the world, no 24 hr darkness. They just embarrass themselves.
I'm not really close minded when it comes to this, but my point is.. these are hypothesis without proofs. Scientific may it be, but there is not enough evidence to support it. So, don't believe everything they say.
However, I could say this.. it doesn't mean that because some predictions fail, there is no way they can become reality. There is always a possibility, although a very slim one.
