How does our president find the time to govern?

I wondered that yesterday when it was announced that he'll be doing all the Sunday news shows. He was out campaigning here in Ohio, in Michigan and other places this week. He seems to constantly be traveling or making speeches--when does he conduct the business of this nation?! He's the most visible presence we've ever had as a president. Do you think this is good or bad?

If only he could play the saxophone. The White House knows that their greatest asset is the president's perceived charm and charisma. While reading about the issues and studying the economics of the president's policies, people can get really worked up. But they figure if they put him out there in a relaxed setting where he can be charming and suave, we'll all relax and realize he's a really nice guy while he gets to tell us how his health care plan is really here just to help and won't cost a dime. I may watch all these shows. Anyone taking bets on whether any of the hosts have the nerve to ask him about ACORN?

I doubt they'll ask him about it, just soft ball questions. Charlie Gibson (ABC news) even claimed he hadn't heard of the issue and that was only yesterday. You'd have to live in a cave not to know about the ACORN scandal! Mr. Obama IS very charming and persuasive. That's how he got elected, by talking a lot and saying absolutely nothing. You make a good point!

I think he's going for the popularity vote for next election, if he looks fun and can try to get the younger generation to identify with and like him, he has their vote because they haven't been paying attention to what he should be doing. I'd like to know when he has time to do the business of the nation, too dragon..

Maybe it's time for us all to move to Texas and let it become its own country!

Someone mentioned that his "czars" are running the nation--that's scary! Appointees that haven't even been approved of by the people via Congress.

Why do you think he has so many czars? He doesn't need to do is JOB when he's delegated all his responsibilities to leftist extremist nutjobs who are not restricted by the Constitution or held accountable to the people - this frees him up so he can continue campaigning, since evidently someone neglected to tell him that the election ended in November 2008.

It certainly seems as though he doesn't know how to stop. And the "czars" are unconstitutional as far as I know, appointees are supposed to be approved by Congress. More and more, we're becoming oppressed and our Constitution is becoming just a piece of paper to those people in DC.
