|  I love the music of David Cook. He has a powerful voice that really speaks to the deepest realms of my soul. My favorite song on his album is Light On. He really knows how to connect with his listeners on a deep emotional as well as psychological level; thus, becoming one element for a brief moment with his listeners, throughout the duration of the time he is singing. His powerful vocals are so deeply moving. He is a remarkable performer overall.

| |  It strikes me funny that you should start this discussion. I didn't know who he was and went to check him out. Most of the songs that came up were remakes of the old rock and roll era. Do you realize this? He does have a nice voice but groups that did these songs originally had even better ones!!

I'm also a big David Cook fan. He is my favorite American Idol winner and I was so thrilled that he won last year. I agree that his vocals are deeply moving. I love the deepness of his voice and the emotional connection he has with the songs he's singing. I also like David Cook as a person. He seems like an intelligent, caring young man. I wish a long and successful career for him.
