While I don't have any children as of yet, I have a nephew (who is 6)and a niece (who is 4). They love watching Bearenstein Bears. They also have several Bearenstein Bears books which they enjoy. Other than BB, they pretty much enjoy watching the same shows, but they do have their favorites. My niece's favorites currently are Max & Ruby, Dora The Explorer and Dragon Tales while my nephew enjoyes Thomas The Tank Engine, Zoboomafoo and Curious George. And of course there is Sesame Steet, which I even enjoy watching with them.

I just found out that my wife is pregnant now I'm real excited that I can share with my child something that I enjoyed as a kid. But the Bearenstein Bears and anything by Dr Seus, that all I would read as a kid.

He also used to watch sesame street of course and loved some of the shows on Nickoldeon and Cartoon Network. I think TV in moderate doses is OK for kids, but there viewisng has to be monitored.
