Is it too early to start christmas shopping?

Apparently not because I went to the dollar store today and it was filled with Christmas stuff.....wrapping paper, bows, gift boxes, bags, etc. It seems they start very early with this holiday stuff to get people to buy more. Personally I have to get through Halloween first!

Their are a lot of people that like to start this early, I usually do not start until. thanksgiving

hi, as my life consists of commute and work and commute back, I am making some efforts looking for presents online now. I have ordered some nice stuff already and got it here waiting to be wrapped and sent on its way. Hope that I will not get into that Christmas frenzy in December and when everyone is searching frantically, that I will have things done and prepared already.

Actually this time is just perfect. You still can find a lot of bargain. Because as soon as it hit the second week of october the price are going to go up! And perfect time also to do the layaway. So beginning of december, the items that you want already pay off, and you can take it home and start wrapping them.

I'd prefer shopping before Christmas and as long as the "Christmas sale" is up... I hate the holiday rush because there are too many people around.

It's never too early to start Christmas shopping. If you start now, everything will be in stock and you don't have to deal with the holiday crowds.

I have some things in mind, I look all year. I have also picked up some bargains already.

I don't think it is too early at all. I know someone that starts hers in July. You can find things cheaper if you start now. Once that Thanksgiving day has arrived everything goes up. I even try to buy what I need for dinner real early too. To me it aint never to early..

No way it's to early. I always swear to start in July but I never do..lol..I have not bought any yet but if I don't get a start soon, I'll be in the store on Christmas Eve again.

I actually haven't, but I say it's never too early. Tons of people do their Christmas shopping over the summer; it saves so much stress to have it done early. I say go for it! Just keep a list of what you've bought and for whom so you don't forget what you have sitting in the closet.:)
