What Size Pillows Do You Sleep On?

In my bedroom my husband and I sleep on queen size pillows. I really like the extra length you get with the squeen size. We each use two or three pillows. If I sleep somewhere else like at a hotel I can never seem to get comfortable with the pillows they supply which are usually standard size. What size pillows do you sleep on?

I sleep with standard sized pillows, but I turn the one I lay my head on so its sideways and cram it up against the wall to make it thicker

I also like to have my face at the edge of the pillow - strange I know

Not strange at all. I do the same thing!

I do that sometimes too with my pillow. Extra comfort.

does make it better than sleeping on those very flat flat pillows

Yeah, I agree. I can't stand the tiny flat pillows, why bother?

I think I'm going to start taking one of my own pillows with me when I travel from now on too.

You know something? I'm not really sure. LOL I'm pretty sure that they are queen size though they may be standard. I haven't really given it much thought. And here I'm the one that buys the pillows! LOL Like you, my husband and I use two each. Though sometimes I use 1 or none at all. It just depends on how I feel and what is available. Sometimes I give up my pillows for my husband or my kids if they need extra. So some days I do without. But that's okay, I somehow find a comfy spot anyway! LOL Happy mylotting!

i think they're standard..but i try to get the firm ones. problem is though,it seems no matter what brand you buy anymore, they don't stay firm for long.i have to replace them every couple of months.

I usually buy the medium ones. I think the firm ones break down easier for some reason.

I sleep with just a regular pillow, its a little fluffier than a normal one. My son has a long pillow but I can't use it. I sleep on my stomach so if I can't hold on to the pillow I don't feel comfortable.

We bought one of those long full body length pillows when I was pregnant with my first child. It was wonderful during my pregnancies. Now, I never use it.

My husband and I sleep on standard size pillows. I like the smaller pillow better than the larger ones because they are easier to move around and put in different positions. Queen ones are okay, but kings are just way to big and cumbersome.

I think we do have one King size pillow. We hardly use it because like you said they are just way too big.

i sleep on three pillows and they are pretty much the normal size pillow. i have two under my head and one under my knees (because of knee issues - i just cant sleep flat without a pillow under my knees.) i usually am able to get the regular size ones on sale. a few weeks ago, i got a few pillows on sale for $3-!

That makes sense. I rarely sleep on my back so my knees aren't a problem when sleeping. I love when pillows go on sale. Time to stock up.

Standard size for me! I used to use two but I'm down to one and it's much more comfortable. I've never had a queen pillow, I don't think I've ever seen one. I like my pillow soft but not mushy. I absolutely love feather pillows but unfortunately, I'm allergic to feathers.

I think I may have too many pillows now too. I think I'll try just one tonight.

Hi. Shar19. I sleep on the standard size pillow. It is a firm feeling pillow. I think that it is a standard size as far as I know of.

We sleep on queen size pillows too, we have a king size bed so most of our pillow cases fit either queen or king size pillows. I like using a bigger pillow too, its more comfortable for me.

I still sleep in my King sized four posted mahogany bed. My pillows are the larges ones. I expect that they are queen sized too. I use two pillows at night. However it does not bother me to sleep on smaller sized pillows if sleeping away from home.

I love the king size bed. That is what we have. Glad the smaller pillows don't bother you.

I'm guessing it's probably a queen size.

I use a standard sized pillow. I sleep with two pillows on my side of the bed. One is just a regular run of the mill standard pillow, but my other pillow is one of the contoured memory foam pillows. I love my contoured pillow and ever since I bought that several years ago, I have to take it with me every time that I am going to be spending the night somewhere away from home. That is the pillow that provides the support for my head and my regular pillow is the one that supports my upper back.
