Are you a good neighbor?

i think that i'ma good neighbor when there is respec from both sides, i i'm respected, i respect them too.
But if when there is a discussion people want to make something bad only beacause the're gelous or something like that, i become a bad neighbor.

Well in answer to your question yes I consider myself to be a good neighbor I don't play my music to loud I keep up my lawn and speak to my neighbors and have conversations with them from time to time I been living here for about 17 years and my neighbors on both sides got here years after I did but we are all very cordial to one another and we look out for each other as well. Thank goodness because having neighbors who feud can be stressful I certainly wouldn't want to have a bad relationship with the people I have to live next too every day.

I live in a 3 story apartment building and I consider myself to be a good neighbor, but I consider my neighbors to be so ignorant that it is disgusting. I am a respectful person, I stop to say hi to them, take everyone's trash to the curb, and everything.

One time my neighbors on the 3rd floor was taking their trash down the step, the bag tore and items fell all over the step. I was in my apartment sleeping when my children kept telling me the smell something foul, I opened my door....and no lying it smelled like a dead body, maggets and everything was over the steps, and do you think the bothered to clean up their mess, they could have cared less, then they just threw the bag outside opened with more than 20 flies surrounding it. I was so pissed off, I couldnt believe it. I knocked on their door and no one bothered to answer it.

I had to go in the hallway with a bucket of soapy water and clean up the mess, I used every cleaning product I had, but it took two whole weeks for the smell in the hall to finally go away, and do you think they bothered to say thankyou.

The only time the speak is if I say Hello first, why do I always have to speak first, now I just walk right pass them, I dont have time.

One more thing.....well there is many things. I always take everyones trash to the curb. One morning I didnt make it outside on time to take out my trash, when I got outside, everyone took their trash to the curb but left mine alone, even though I always took everyones things to the curb. Ignorant they are.

Here's something else, it could be 3 am in the morning, someone be upstairs playing basketball. You would think they could be considerate while people are sleeping.......I just cant stand it.....i have been living in my apartment for four years and they have only been living here for 2 months and they are the most disrespectful people ever.......THEY NEED TO GO BACK WHERE THEY CAME FROM, SERIOUSLY!!!

Yes, I've always been a good neighbor...considerate, responsible and friendly. My husband noticed a problem with our neighbor's wiring one evening that very well could have eventually started an electrical fire so the very next day he went to Home Depot, bought what was needed to correct the problem and he corrected it. She didn't ask for his help, but he offered it nonetheless. Right now most of my neighbors are family in one way or another and they all know that we are there for them...no matter what they need.

i try me best to be a good neighbor i sometimes talk to the others around here but not to much never know who you live by i have a lil sis and i don't want her to get to closes to the neighbors exseoly the males cus most of the cases of $ex offinder are people they know. I'm very over protetive of my family.

I think I have the qualities of a good neighbor. I try to help them when my neighbors need, I give them company, I look out for them and I am sure that I am more than the folk next door. And I always wanted some qualities from them like they should be polite, not noisy, they should not interfere my personal matters and they should keep watch of everything.

we recently shifted to our new homw some weeks ago.the neighbours before were so good so even we were very friendly to them.we are good neihbours but the neihbours near our new house doesnot like to talk to anyone.they are kindd of weird people who dont wish anyone neither they talk to anyone.

i think that was my discussion that you responded to....lol...yes i am a good neighbour and i do treat everyone with respect in the house i live in, i did mention that my house is converted into apartments so there's a number of people who reside here and i get on really well with them all, all but one....there's this horrible nasty piece of work upstairs who is just vile as a himan being and is making peoples lives hell, but i am ok with everyone else here, i invite them down for chats and make BBQ's for them in the garden and invite them to join me if i have people over, we all get on really well apart from that thing upstairs, she's got no respect for anyone, i don't even think she has respect for herself either. but i do consider myself a good neighbour and they are good to me too, if she was not here this place would be perfect....

I think so. I don't usually go out in our house nor mingle with my neighbors right now... I used to go outside before when I was young to play with the other kids but right now, I don't want to and I don't enjoy being outside.

But, I do think I'm a good neighbor since I help them whenever they need me...I think that's a good reason..

There will come a time that you can test your self to be the real neighbor. A neighbor is not always the one who is good to others. He is not the one who helps others. He is not the one who treats others fairly like he does to himself. He is not the one who extends or lends a hand to those who are in need. A true neighbor is the one who is the recepient of all the goodness that others can offer.
