Do you have lemon with your tea?

At restaurants you can ask for lemon if they don't offer it. I think sometimes people forget that you can ask because it's just not something that's thought about unless you really prefer lemon all the time! lol!

I haven't gotten tea at a restauraunt in a long time, but my parents in laws always have water and they're asked about lemon alot.

Mint and milk to tea, I've had mint tea I am sure, but not sure that I've added milk to hot tea. I don't drink that very much, here we drink sweet tea, or ice tea. It's the same thing. That's in the south of the US, in the north I've been told they don't know what your talking about whilst going through a drive thru and asking for "ice tea"... or if they do, they give you a pack of sugar to add... lol.

I've had lemon on my chicken, and it was quite nasty as it was premade and too much lemon on it... YUCK! lol!

No, no, I never add milk to tea or anything as I think it's perfectly horrid stuff. Ice tea here is a sugary pop drink in a can.
I make mint tea by simply adding mint leaves to water and simmering, it's very refreshing as well as being free.

THERE are so many uses for lemon, even in cleaning. I've heard about the ways you've said, either on other responses or just well I don't know where I heard about the highlight effects. Yes, I agree, better to do it evenly, maybe soaking it in a bristle brush and then combing through evenly?

I think that the information you have given me is very interesting. I appreciate it. I had heard that the combination of honey and lemon mixed in water is supposed to help slim you, but am not sure how that works. I can't say I am skeptical though as I do believe that it can work, just not sure how. It's wondorous what nature's own brews can do for our health!

This morning and I think even last night, the lemon I put in my tea was really too strong after it got down to the bottom of the cup. I didn't even stir it. As for drinking it in the morning, is it because of it digestive help benefits? I read that online last night when I was trying to look up health benefits for lemon. Lemon is good with tea, my husband doesn't think so. Lemon's good with water but better with tea, my husband likes it kind of in water...

Healthy AND Yummy are the best combinations! I drink tea more often then not on most occasions, but am trying to cut back. With added Lemon, I may not feel as guilty!
