We know there are a lot of beauty regimen that are great beneficial to our skin and body.in nature care practioner they use mud packs is beneficail and effective treatment to chronic inflammation like bruises, sparins, boils and wounds.the advantage of mud treatment is that it is able to retain moisture and coolness for longer periods than cold water packs or compresses.the cold moisture relaxes the pores of our skin, draws the blood into the surface and it relives inner congestion and pain.one brand is monticelli mud treatment it detoxify our skin and soften.it say it is best for dry skin type.will you try to have it in the spa?

I think mud spa is not something new.. IT's being tested and used in many other countries.. hehe ^_^ I will dare to try it for it's something natural and healthy.. hehe ^_^ AFter all, it does not harm to our body, and with moderation, it's good for our skin.. PLus, not that much ple are allergic to mud, and thus why not?? Mud has always been used for fat lost programs as well, and i dun see any harm here.. hehe

Yup, it is already been uses in spas for many years now but their are still lot of people who do not know the fact about it. Some may laugh with having a mud in their face it look unclean and dirty too..lol.. But, many still like to try it test its effectiveness..in our places when the Mt. Pinatubo volcanic eruption soil too are now being uses in spas as added attractions to tourist even having their whole bodies treated with mud. Thus, it is believe the contents have a lots of minerals then one is sulphor which is very good to protect the skin against skin diseases..aiming at detoxification.. and skin rejuvenation.. hi ckyera, kun, she is asking about how does mud works in fats?

if given a chance, then why not! hehe i guess there's no harm in trying... its always a good feeling to go to the spa and relax and pamper ourselves... if it offers good result for our skin, then i will be more than willing to try it! but how about the price? was it affordable? have you tried it?

oh i see...hmmm sounds good, but its expensive! hehe i can't afford that...huh! but if someone will free me, then i will try! haha just kidding... well i think so that its not an ordinary mud...hehe coz if its the ordinary one, maybe it will just cause us more skin problems...haha and if that's just an ordinary one, maybe it will not be that expensive and we can get a lot of it...(specially now after the flood)! kidding aside, well good for you that you have tried it already and it gives you a good result, but for me, well maybe i will just try looking for other alternative, hehe as effective but not as expensive...anyway, i don't really have any problem with my skin, except for that i am not that fair...hehe

Yeah, it is very effective as my Aunt who uses is 65 years old and yet look like 40 years old... yup, ordinary mud would only do damages to the skin and it is not worthy to dare to try it.. yeah, mud too is plenty on my places.. not fair? I see your photos..and you look good on your skin..that is the envy of of many white races?..

wow! then its really effective! hehe so, if i am 28 now, if i will use that product, i will look like 18? haha but anyway, maybe even without those treatments, as long as we are living healthy, having good sleep & rest, eating lots of fruits & veggies, and exercise, maybe we can also achieve that young look! huh! ( but i guess i am a failure on this part) haha yes i know, that our natural morena color is what some white people dream about..huh! see, people are like that, we aim for what we don't have, whites want to have a color like ours, while most of the girls here wanted to have fairer skin...haha well, i guess im good now with my color, what i want now is just maintain it... know what, with my complexion now, one of my uncle still bully me...he address me as "negra"

I've read about the uses of using mud treatment too; would feel yucky definitely if suddenly all mud are on my skin, but I'm willing to give it a try.. but perhaps in a long time to come.. lol.. Just kidding. I know that there are spas catering to this mud treatment service; but I think ladies are more comfortable to try it out than men.. although the benefit to both gender are the same. But we need to detoxify ourselves so let me consider this muddy thing, yeah..

hi zed, yeah..it may sound strange to others.... well..the mud is not the ordinary one which could be seen in unlikely muddy wet places.. as it is special from the volcanic ashes which contains a lot of minerals famous from Italy and Israel... good for you zed, as you are not feel uneasy to try it.. anyway it is good for the skin citing the relaxation benefit which one could get from the massages.. it is really worth the effort to try...

Sure Id try a mud scrub but only if its one of those mud from geysers..?..I think.LOL I forgot the name but there's this hot spring or a pool beside a geyser that's rumored to have healing qualities and can be very good for the skin. The water is said to be warm and it looks like diluted milk. You scrub the soft 'mud' on your body. It kinda does resemble a spa treatment but with the healing wonders of nature. That's the kind of mud scrub that Id prefer. The ones on spas and those that are store bought, well, Im not really fond of buying cosmetics or something like that for my body. Just the good old trusty soap, loofah, and lotion will do.^_^

hi bj, yup, the mud is special not the ordinary mud which we use to see during rainy seasons and that is from volcanic remnants. here in our country I think it is already doing it using the Mt Pinatubo mud and lot of tourist as i seen in the news flock in the areas to experiences mud bathing.. yup, it is believe to cure too a lot of skin diseases asides from making the skin, soft, smooth and leaving it with glowing skin. It relax the entire body for a total skin rejuvenation and detoxification cleansing.. yeah, those cosmetics would only have a short term good results and when you not steady buy the products, the skin would turn back again to the same skin complexion..without maintenance it fail to gives good results.. yeah, me too rely on my papaya soap and moisturizing lotion. Then, the best things to keep one young is to have a optimistic outlook rather than keeping an optimistic attitudes.

I would definitely try it. I am always willing to try new things that don't hurt so sure, I would let the spa cover me in mud to detox my skin. It might be a really good feeling, who knows?
• Philippines
7 Oct 09
yeah, and mud packs is essentially chemicals free as the sources of muddy packs is from natural resources and it would not really hurt if you like to become pretty. Trying is good and if you have sensitive skin then it is good to try an allergy test before undergoing mud treatment spas.

hi neelianoscet well in spite of all the hype about the wonders of mud packs I tried it once. It was costly and the result sent me to my doctor for allergy medication to counteract the rash that that mess of gunk brought to my face. I am really allergic to whatever in hell and' gone is in that stuff. I did not get beautiful, I got miserable and it took over a week to clear my skin up again. no thank you no more mud packs for me.

Hi hatley, the things which happen to you maybe the causes of allergy and your skin is very sensitive on the mud. Well, the main rules really in every things we like to buy especially the cosmetic types have a need to test it first with elbows and if becomes reddish then your skin is not compatible with the formula.

I would try it, why not? I don’t treat myself to spas as a rule because I don’t have the money but if someone paid for me to go I would definitely be there and I would be open to try almost anything on offer there; it is all pampering and relaxing! I have heard about the benefits if mud packs and baths, I don’t know how well they work but I would be willing to give it a try.

....Hi neeelianoscet, In reading the previous responses to your question, only one person had actually tried a mud pack treatment, with very negative results, she even had to go to the doctor according to her posting. The others would be in favor of trying the treatment. I would be in favor of trying it as well, as long as the cost was not prohibitive. That being said, based on the experience of the one responder to her treatment, I would say, if you are going to try it, you test it on your inner elbow area, to see if you have any kind of negative reaction to the mud pack, before you have it applied to your facial area. It could work very well, as long as your skin is not sensitive to the chemicals that are in the mud concoction. Take care.

I would love to try it, mud is so good for your skin. I always use mud face packs and my skin feels amazing afterwards. I would certainly have a mud scrub in a spa it sounds wonderful. If my whole body feels like my face does after a mud pack it would be great, and make me feel good too.
