Ok, I just saw an ad for the best fall shoes for under $150.00 I like shoes, I really do but I can not imagine spending a paycheck on them... I am a mom, maybe it is the rational side in me that just cant see the use of paying that much for shoes....after all they are only going to be stepped in (granted I do like my shoes to look nice but within a reasonable price) ...and with the weather being touchy at times they are going to be ruined eventually!! Does paying 150.00 for a pair of shoes sound reasonable to you?? do you spend alot on your shoes?? Are you a shoe-fenatic and have to have them at any cost?? HAPPY MYLOTTING!!

just think...at 60.00 you could get 2 pair at around 150.00 and maybe a sweater too -- but yeah I think it isnt justified to pay that much for shoes... now if I was rich I might not think about that but for now I have too!! thanks for the response and have a great day!!

Yes I am a shoe fanatic. I love shoes and have several pair of them. $150.00 for shoes, well that's another story. They better do more than just look good on my feet for $150.00. I'm a mom too and we live on a budget so when I decide to indulge in my guilty pleasure I go to Payless :)

I don't "collect" shoes like I've heard some do but I do need a good pair of shoes because I am so heavy and I have a bum knee. If I don't wear well made shoes then it messes my knee up even more so I have to have SAS shoes and they are expensive. You know what I did though to keep from paying that $100 plus cost per pair of shoes though is to buy them on ebay. They were lightly used but I paid half or even less than half what they would have cost me brand new. That way I could buy myself a couple of pairs in different colors. I do like it when my clothing, shoes and accessories coordinate. Not that I'm always that efficient but I do like it when they do!!

there is DEFINITELY a satisfaction in having an outfit that coordinates I am a pretty good bargain hunter myself and I have done well with getting an outfit with shoes for under 80.00 one time.... of course I was working and bringing in a paycheck so it was well worth it and alot of fun too!! thanks for the response and have a great day!!

I like those that are moderate in price or beter yet on sale....if I really like them. I usually wear the same brand of shoe so I know how much they will be before I get to the store.....but that's way too much for a pair of shoes unless you have so much money you don't know what to do with all of it!

thats what I was thinking, I cant justify paying 150.00 for shoes.... I do like a pretty shoe, but I am not willing to sacrifice a paycheck just for a pair of shoes. thanks for the response and have a great day!!

I am not a fan of spending a lot of money on shoes. I don't see what the point is. No matter how much you spend on them they're going to get messed up and scuffed up within a week or so. I think the only people that spend a lot on shoes have a lot of money to do so and they probably just wear them a day or two here and there since they have so many.

I'm with you on this one. I love my shoes, but I can't fathom paying $150 for shoes. I about die when I finally have to buy new gym shoes and end up paying $60-$70. I want my shoes to look nice, but I'm cheap when it comes to buying for myself and don't want to shell out the high price tag. If it's shoes you wear on a daily basis, like work shoes, I don't mind paying a little more, otherwise it's unreasonable to spend so much.

yes, I think if it something that you are going to put to good use...like your gym shoes...we really do need a decent pair not to injure ourselves while working out or doing what we do in them.. but I just cant imagine paying that amount for a pair of shoes... I am cheap about that too!! thanks for the response and have a great day!!

hi bookreadermom08 oh no I would never ever spend one hundred fifty or under for shoes. heck I only' spend 981 per month here for board and room. Some women I guess would spend that much on shoes. I did so love to have great looking shoes when I was younger 'but never spent a lot on them. Now because of an injury to my left foot, I have to wear orthopedic shoes with a brace on my left foot and they are so ugly.they cost a fortune, even with medicare and my hmo I still had a ' co pay of three hundred dollars. that is outrageus. altogether they cost 789 dollars, this is just the sort ' of thing that really gripes me about our medical care. how can one pair of leather boots with a brace cost that much?

Hi. bookreadermom08. I would never pay this much for shoes even if I could afford to. I don't see or understand how many rich people can do this. I believe in looking good buy saving at the same time too.

No, I wouldn't spend $150.00 for a pair of shoes! That's outrageous! Some western boots are about that much but I couldn't afford them at that price. The last pair of boots I bought were about $57.00. I'm not really a shoe fanatic but the last time I cleaned out my closet, which was a year or two ago, I found out I had more shoes than I thought I did. I couldn't believe it! Kathy.

that is so funny, it is amazing sometimes when we clean something out and find out we have more than we thought!!!! My mom is a shoe-fenatic, she has tons and tons of shoes, but she is very good at finding the bargain... so she wouldnt pay that much either for shoes--not when she can get a whole outfit with accessories and shoes that match!! thanks for the response and have a great day!!
