I like doing research but having to do a whole book - mmmmmm. I know I don't have the motivation to take on such a tremendous undertaking. I would probably double guess myself into oblivion.

Not necessary that he needs to write on the current topics. But he can get ideas and can develope them using his skills. So, I think, its good to read. But secondly, writing is altogether a different concept and needs a lot of hard work, skills and most importantly, patience. There might be many here who might have read hundreds and thousands of pages, but might have very very miserably failed to write even one single page honestly. So, writing is a difficult job for sure.

4. 25thseaweed (103) | 2 months ago | I have never thought that i was ablt to write a book in my life, untill one day, one of the friends said that you can wirte with no problems just like anybody can do too, because writing is actually the same as speaking, only your talk to your audience by writing! sounds so true, never thought about is this way, but still have no confidence about doing it, while at least it's good to know that, i think i might try to do it someday, who knows?

7. amshugonchikar (153) | 2 months ago | No, I don't think so. After reading so many books, I understood that to write a book, one must think above the readers. I mean, one must think and feel and see beyond the thinking and imagination of the intended readers. For example, if you are writing a scientific fiction, you must write it in such a way that no science person can find it wrong; At least not the common reader. The writer must be a great schemer, have good idea of psychology and must be conscious not only of the end but also of the ways to approach the end. Hmm... This is what I feel about writing a book. After all that is said, I don't have skills to write one.

| 10. rocketseance (45) | 1 month ago | I think I may be able to write a book. I think I just need to have a good editor. I have this cascade of thoughts every time my hand hits the keyboard but the only problem that I have is that I am having trouble organizing them into something that is appreciable. I go far left of the chaotic thinker in the thinking spectrum. I am too disorganized that you'd find that my phonebook is messy.
I hope I get a good editor so I can write a book. A very good book. Then what I need to worry about next is how to get a very good accountant.=)
