Do you like Facebook? Why and Why not

I have a Facebook account. I do find it very addicting. It seems like sometimes I want to log in and check everyone's status and make sure I reply or at least say hi. I have been in contact with people that I haven't talked to in over 20 years. It is kind of nice to be back in contact with these old friends.

But then, after a while, it seems like you don't talk to them anymore. You just talk to them when they are first added to your page as a friend. And then they go about their merry way. I guess, it just goes to show why you haven't talked to them for so long in the first place.

I think it is pretty convenient though. If I just want to give someone a message, then they don't even have to check their email. I can just post it right on their page. Like when my sister fixed tea and treats for me the other day. I just went right to her wall and said "Thank You". That was pretty convenient.

Sounds that your hubby is really addicted to Facebook, just like me, lol. But I log on only every morning for around 20 minutes of so each time. I think the appeal of Facebook is due to its uniqueness and the fact that since its existence, everybody is getting around with it.

I will always love this site, but mostly for gaming purposes and networking with other gamers and some personal friends too.

I have a Facebook account, but I hardly use it. The only reason why I have it is to talk to a few friends that I have not seen since high school....thirteen years ago. We have mostly all moved to other states, and it is too hard to keep in contact with each other. We never have time to pick up the phone (we all have different schedules), so it is easier to just drop a line on Facebook. Other than that, I don't have any friends that I don't already know. I don't really see the point in it.

My husband is into farm town as well as mafia wars,he is always on facebook doing them.I go on face book on my phone only if i have to leave a message for someone or just to find out where we are all drinking if we are going out.I also chat to a few friends of a weekend.

Not surprising when people get hooked in facebook. I am also an addict in farmtown. I am a virtual farmer and spend my time either here or in facebook at my farm.

Yes, i like it because i can find some old friends and also stay in touch with them

I made a facebook account cause my sister has been bugging me for a while to be her neighbor in farmtown, she had me plow and harvest on her farm. We got to chat as well and find what each one is up to in their lives. And it seems fortunate cause a lot of my old friends too found me and had me play other games as well. So for now, I am hooked on facebook games.

I have found so far that the problems with FaceBook outweigh the benefits, so I have not used my account much. At first it seemed like a good idea, but communities of that sort are a dime a dozen. Now myLot is a wholly different matter:-)

I have a facebook account and I normally log in once or twice a day. It can get addictive especially some of the games and the quizzes. I use to play those games, but these days I have reduced playing them. These days I only use it to chat with friends and see what they are upto. I dont really upload pictures and only change my status after a long time. Its a good site to spend some free time on.

I am not really that into Facebook. I do play some games occasionally, like Fashion Wars and Glamour Age. Like you I rarely update my status. Mostly I use it because it is one of the most convenient way to stay in touch with my friends as I live abroad. I chat with them, see what they are up to and share photos and videos with them. Basically, trying to stay in touch with them.
