The best way to find empty titles on helium is to use the title finder with a single keyword. You will get thousands of results relative to all channels that can be sorted according to the number of existing articles, creation date and how many times a title has been viewed. I just typed in the keyword holiday and came up with several pages of results. When I sorted the list to see which titles have been viewed the most a title for holidays in Mankato came up. I have seen Mankato quite a lot in empty title search results. It must be a popular destination for it to have shown up on the first page of highest viewed titles. This is a real opportunity for anyone in that area with knowledge of the goings on. There are plenty of other holiday related titles to go around for everyone else too.

What or where is Mankato? I never even heard of this word or place before? I have another question for you. When you do a search for empty titles do you search by empty titles or just bring up everything and then search out the empty ones? Finally how are you refining your search? You say that you can see the highest viewed titles. How do you do that? I am clueless! Thanks for your advice!

What, you never watched Little House on the Prairie? They used to talk about going in to Mankato! LOL There is actually more than one Mankato, believe it or not. One in MN (Home of the state univeristy) and one in Kansas! I have seen Mankato come up a number of times when searching for empty titles. I start out doing a general search with a one word keyword for all channels. Then I sort them according to number of articles (lowest) per title and then I look through the 0 ones. Sometimes you can find a title for a similar topic that belongs to a different channel that might have better earning potential. If there are two many empties and I want to narrow it down I will redo the search but restrict it to only one channel. You might try searching the word "grow." Lots of things can be grown, children, food and other plants, money... this way you can find titles you might be able to write to that you wouldn't have known to look for because you weren't searchign in those other channels.

Now that you mention the university being located there, I guess I have heard of it. I guess the old brain needed a little jarring. I am probably the only person in the world who never saw "Little House on the Prairie," however. Thanks for your tips. You really have given me a new way to look at searching on Helium.

There are so many titles that have remained empty on helium for years! When you find those you can almost be assured that no one is interested in them and won't compete with you.
